Prohibition did take a Constitutional amendment and so did repealing it.
MORON!
Somewhere in all that it was stated that the government was going after LARGE Operations for growing the weed.
Has anyone thought to sell weed as a food supplement, no FDA involvement there.
Perhaps rename the plant, make it into an ornamental shrub for the yard or advertise it as a pest control like Citronella.
Just look at all the energy it takes to grow this plant inside. The electricity, the water, the chemicals needed to grow all those plants in a small space.
This stuff needs to be grown outside naturally like free range chickens, or beef steak tomatoes. Most hot house vegetables taste like crap.
What people do with the weed when they buy it is up to them, like all farmed things, the farmer sells say a squash to a customer and has no idea if the buyer will eat it or stuff it up their butt.
I read somewhere that real liquorish root is illegal in this country also----someone decided way back then that it is addicting. True or not, but the State flower for California is still the Poppy.
This is so silly, grown men armed to the teeth arresting anyone for growing weeds in their cellar when State law says they can.
