I think Old Saint Joe Biden has a bit of snow on the brain.

In an interview on Larry King Alive this past Wednesday, the Vice President of these here States United was asked of his current assessment of Iraq.

"I am very optimistic about -- about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.
I spent -- I've been there 17 times now. I go about every two months -- three months. I know every one of the major players in all of the segments of that society. It's impressed me. I've been impressed how they have been deciding to use the political process rather than guns to settle their differences."

Uh, what was that again?

"I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration."

Good grief.

The Obama administration and the Democratic party have used Iraq as a constant bludgeoning tool toward Bush and most any other Republican supportive of the action in Iraq since it became en vogue within liberal punditry and media circles to do so.

As Senator, Biden actually voted to give President Bush authorization to enact and carry out his plan for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Then, in 2005, as he was preparing for his presidential ambitions, he changed his tune, declaring his vote to be a mistake. If he had to do it again, he claimed, he would vote no. (Not to mention his bizarre plan to carve up Iraq into three parts, like some Tofurky at a vegan Christmas dinner.)

Iraq is a success for Lord Zero, but Afghanistan is still President  Bush's fault.

Rush got into this in his show yesterday.  Sickening that our troops' lives are being used as political grist.

Hi,

While I too found it beyond stupid, I was kind of glad it happened.  First of all Fox blasted him with both barrels.  Second, there is a lot more of the American people who are becoming more aware of what is going on.  Those kind of remarks shows just how desparate those idiots really are.....not to mention how idiotic they are.

Awhile back I made a post of how folks resent stuff like that, "They must think I am stupid to believe that."  People resent that big time, it is a put down and insult to their intelligence, and the libs just do not get it....which is just fine, they will pay in November.

regards,

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Oh, I'd forgotten about Biden's plan to trisect the country. He claimed ending the war would be impossible unless they did so.

These people occupying the WH now are nothing but bratty kids, and Robert Gibbs is a typical example of their mindset - blame Bush, attack Sarah Palin in the way a ten-year-old would, and try to take credit for things that happened despite their efforts to thwart them.

So lemme get this straight. Iraq which was all Bush's fault for 8 years is now considered a success of the Obama admin?

Meanwhile the economy that Barry has done a shit ton of stuff to mess up is still Bush's fault?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Yes.  Not much more to say about it.

Yes.  Not much more to say about it.

What? According to Barry, the Stimulus Bill , which was passed one year ago today, is responsible for 2 million people having jobs that would not have had them without it.  He said that in a speech this morning, so it must be true. He wouldn't lie about something that important.  :uhsure:
