I am so F***ing tired of war
Gotta rant: Took my son to basketball this weekend, and once again, one of the parents was explaining to another why her Daughter had no Dad at the game- He was in Afghanistan. The kid had a National geographic map of the country on her lap and was trying to figure out where he was. This has happened around me many times- I live in a town with a big military base. God I am sick of us sending troops to the other side of the world, to a broken and unfixable country, to fight an "enemy" who's main wish is for us to just go away. The next time I hear "but it is to make us safe" I'm going to scream at them "tell that to the hundreds of soldiers dying over there, and the thousands injured, and the tens of thousands of families with a loved one over there, just how "safe" they really are. Just so YOU can feel 1/10000000000 of a percent safer from some airplane hijacker. Go F**** yourself.

Geography lessons at a basketball game?

And sorry but kids know these things and don't ask incessantly.

I think I found John Kerry's DU name:

3. I got tired of war when I was in Cambodia in 1970.
As a matter of fact, I was in Cambodia when Tricky Dick went on the boob tube and told Americans that we would not invade Cambodia. Perhaps that's because the US already had.

Since then I joined the Veterans For Peace, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and I'm an associate member of Iraq Veterans Against the War.

His avatar is a Bronze Star. I wonder if he would stand up to Stolen Valor scrutiny?

After that lots echoing about war for profit, corporate mercenaries.

No word yet if Obama should be impeached.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

The Little Goons have no concept about what their perfect world where war is not possible would actually look like.  The childlike Little Goons do not have the intellect to grasp the reality that the absence of war is not peace.  The lack of intellectual maturity in the Little Goon's elementary mind hinders their ability to understand that the entity of war and the promise of war is the only reason they are able to freely drown in the disgusting pool of willful idiotic nonsense known as DemocratUnderground.com.

If war was an complete impossibility, we would all be slaves.  Cannot the Little Goons grasp that simple reality?  Just for a fleeting second?

War, you ignorant piss-ant Little Goons, is as vital to liberty as education and the goals of common destiny.

Actually, if the Islamists kill someone, that person has "gone away"--aided by the Islamist killer.

Okay DUmmie, fair enough. I'm also sick of war...Now, what's your solution to the problem the islamofascists have with the civilized world?
How would you deal with them? If you were Nick Berg's father, what would you have done when that cocksucker started sawing on your son's neck?
If you were Daniel Pearl's wife, what would you have done when that cocksucker started sawing on your husband's neck?
If your brother was seen hanging from a bridge in Iraq, burned beyond recognition, what would you have done?
If your nephew was last seen being dragged through the streets of Mogadishu, what would you suggest we, as Americans, do?
I'd really like to know. We hear all kinds of effin" problems...how about some solutions.

I find it amazing these assholes have more compassion for those hit with a predator strike as collateral damage, than they do for the Americans jumping to their death to keep from burning to death, from the Twin Towers!

That's too funny. I wonder if the map came with the program.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I see kids with National Geographic maps spread out on their laps at nearly every basketball game.

They still print National Geographic? And kids know about it?
