President Obama taking heat over mispronunciation of "Corpsmen."
   
While speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast, President Obama mispronounced the word "Corpsman" as "corpse-man."

The right-wing is already making fun of this. Why would people expect others who didn't serve in the Military to necessarily be familiar with every pronunciation of their lingo? Give it a rest.

Because he's the fricking COMMANDER IN CHIEF you moron! Besides, you'd think the smartest man on the planet would, supposedly and editor of a prestigious ivy league law journal would bother to know how to spell/pronounce words. Sorry but he doesn't get a pass on this. It's disrespectful. These guys are required to respect/salute him regardless of how many times he's ripped on them, regardless of giving them ROE's that get them killed. The least he could do it learn how to pronounce his name. Think of it this way: if you'd tease George Bush about it why should the big zero be treated any differently? Considering that Corpse Men provide most of his care at Bethesda he would know how to pronounce it. If he actually cared about the most decorated and dedicated bunch in the military.

I know I did not join the Army.  Thought I did not join the Marine Corps either but ended up spending 12 years with em.  I had more cammies and boots in my closet when I retired than I did Navy uniforms.
