Haiti: Survivor found after four weeks

Quote
Another survivor has been pulled from the wreckage of a building in Port-au-Prince, more than two weeks after the government called off search-and-rescue efforts and nearly a month after the earthquake which devastated Haiti.

The 28-year-old man, identified as Evan Muncie, was found buried in the rubble of a marketplace and may have been trapped since the January 12 quake, according to CNN reports.

Doctors said he was suffering from extreme dehydration and malnutrition but did not have any major injuries from being crushed.

Dr Mike Connelly at the University of Miami field hospital said Muncie had been left "emaciated" by his ordeal.

wow....

makes me wonder if there are others who survived but were then killed as they started clearing the buildings with heavy equipment.....

Can't imagine how that would change a person's outlook on life.

At the very least, I would think a horrendous fear of enclosed spaces ....
