Monday Monday.....

I live in a vast white wasteland.

Well, maybe i exaggerate a bit...but there is white as far as I can see.

Heading out today to rescue my daughter from the top of the mountain (she's been at a friend's since Friday), and take her for an eye Dr appt.  Hauling all the kids along, too, just to get them out of the house.

No school tomorrow, either.

And they are sayin 6-12 more inches of snow is expected tomorrow through Wednesday.

The only saving grace is Mr Flame is on vacation, so he's home to help me not go insane.  But this snow has put a huge damper on all the DIY projects I'd hope to complete this week.

We got just enough snow overnight to coat the side streets and make them slick. More snow expected for the next couple of days, but not a lot of it.  I'm tired of the cold and snow.

We have 2 feet of the white stuff and are now expecting another big storm starting tomorrow afternoon through Wed. night -- WHEEEEEEE!!!  :banghead:

The good news is we didn't lose power although 60,000 other unlucky Atlantic City Electric customers to the south of us did.

Also -- our teenage son is the BEST (really!!).  Did a fabulous job digging us out yesterday and clearing the driveway and paths for us and M's tax clients to get in and out.  Wonder if he knows he's going to have to do it again Wed/Thurs?  :evillaugh:

Been at various stages of cloudy all day....and it's cold and damp. Rain's coming in sometime tonight and turning to snow tomorrow night with wind warnings... :(

Out early this morning to go write TWO offers.....(thank You, God).....hope at least one will work.

Have to be at a required ethics class in the morning....it's mandatory for every 2-year license renewal and is the last chance I have before my May renewal. Yes...I have had almost 2 years to take it. In my defense ...it will be my 6th or 7th time of taking it, it's FOUR HOURS, it's boring...and it starts at 9AM. I hate mornings with a passion.

Absolutely! By 9am I'm over half way through my workday and I'm usually getting a break with lunch an hour or 2 away. Come back for an hour or 2 and home at 1. :-D

Thoughts and prayers to those of you caught up in the latest snowstorm. A friend of mine just relocated from Chicago to DC.  I never thought she'd be wishing for a Chicago winter while living in DC, but I bet she is this year.

I worked on reports last night until 4:30am.... and got up at 8:15am.....does that count as a full day?   :innocent:

I watched some TV commercials and the news till 11ish last night and then was up at 3. Still haven't slept yet. Is that a full day?

ew.  I need my beauty sleep.

I'm not liking my new work schedule.  Off Sunday, work Monday, off Tuesday, work the rest of the week.  Do. not. like.
