I'm listening to him talk to the Dems at the DNC meeting, and find so much empathy, real caring and concern, and good common sense in what he says... I wish he'd hold a conversation with the American people instead of the Washington politicians, outlining the problems and what it's going to take to fix them. I think he could gain a lot of confidence that way as well as help to calm things down.

The Dummy is on to something. It's not that he hasn't explained it well enough, like he claims, it's that he is trying to sell us horse manure and say it will taste like chocolate.

I loved it when Obama tried to say that people sneaked things into the HC bill that went against his promises. I bet you though he would have signed it into law quite happily. When he said, "The buck stops here", he meant anywhere other than with him. Everything under the sun is the fault of Bush, the Republicans, and the Democrats. Not once has uncle Barry had the balls or courage to take responsibility for anything. Well other than the slight fall in unemployment due to the fact that people quit looking for jobs. When he said that was encouraging I about puked.

Appearing from there, the Child President would be swallowed by the "majesty" of the Oval Office.  It would be like PeeWee Herman speaking form the Vatican Rotunda.  The inappropriate setting alone would have people laughing at him.

If he speaks from the Oval Office, like most Presidents. We may see the pictures of Mao, Stalin, Wright, etc, he keeps on his desk. Besides, the cameraman may trip on the prayer rug.

I heard on hate radio (Beck) the other day a sound byte from Ed "cheating bastard" Shultz that the WH was like a shrine to Obama. There were photos of him everywhere. Of course Eddy thought it was cool.

On second thought, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Mussolini did that pose out of arrogance. The jug-eared muslim does it partly out of arrogance, but mainly because the teleprompter is set at knee level.

Silly DUmmie.

All they want is for Obama to get up in front of the teleprompter and make another campaign speech. Standard fare stuff - spin some tall tales, make a bunch of vague platitudes and promises, re-iterate that there may be some hardships and that you must do as he says to have a hope for change.

This seems to reassure the primitives and significantly reduces the flying poop quotient from the screaming monkey cage, as what he says is far more important than what he actually achieves.
