I'm moving this from the DUmpster, the "general circulation" area, to the DUmping Ground, the "reference section," as it seems to belong there.

One of our dogs we got from a man whose wife, he claimed, gave him an ultimatum; the dog or her was going to leave. The dog is a lab mix, with what seems to be English Bulldog. When we got him, he was just nine months old or so, but seemed like a scared old dog on his last days.

We would play with him, with chew toys, ropes and such and once in a while would accidentally get my hand. He didn't know any better to immediately lessen his bite when that happened. It was play, but I got some pretty good nips at times. He just never had anyone care enough for him to teach him such things. Now, when playing with him, if that happens, he's so quick to recognize that it amounts to getting gummed.

That's the difference between my dog and a DUmmie like Warpy. The dog wanted to learn to be a decent member of the family. Warpy and other DUmmies have decided to remain biters.

Excellent analogy, sir.

I'm all for calling on them for ideology and blatant lies.  I have been uncomfortable a couple times when I've read what I would call "cheap shots."

Not only no, but hell no! Ignorance of this magnitude needs to be exposed! Traitors should never be overlooked!

Not only no, but hell no! Ignorance of this magnitude needs to be exposed! Traitors should never be overlooked!

Two comments of only-slightly-known primitives are seared in this brain.

The comments were posted at our old home, but alas our old home crashed, and it would take an earth-mover to dig them up at their original source any more.

The first was by Dorothy, the snobbish primitive, the "uppityperson" primitive, the older middle-aged nurse living north and west of Seattle, about four years ago, when she said she trusted the terrorists more (for her own safety) than she trusted George Bush.

The second was by the skidmarked underwear primitive, the "Skidmore" primitive, the older middle-aged farmwife living in eastern Iowa, sometime in early 2006 (long before the mid-term elections that year), when the primitives were discussing physical attacks on Republican candidates in Virginia, she said she wished "to see more of this."

Despite that Dorothy is just a twithead, and that the skidmarked underwear primitive is a survivor of cancer, one is hard-pressed to feel any sort of sympathy for either one of them, for any reason.

Nah, I don't think so. Once in a great while a comment might cross the line somewhat, but most of our ripostes are reserved for the very most repugnant, hateful, intentionally dishonest and hypocritical blatherings they issue. Blatherings which, in some parts of the world, would get them killed (the irony of which totally escapes them, for it is those very parts of the world which they support while cursing their own homeland).

Even those few for whom I've harbored a strong desire to punch sharply in the face, were I to ever meet them IRL, I'd probably end up feeling sorry for after seeing their little rat-like, puny selves and just brush them off.

Besides, there's nothing we could ever say or do to them that would surpass the hell of self-consuming hatred, antipathy, depression and roiling class envy they've created for themselves in that sewer they've built that is DU. These are truly miserable and sick people.

Yeah Coach, I remember the "safety" post. I had to restrain myself from throwing my monitor across the frikkin' room. Traitorous is the only way I can explain some of them over there!

Occasionally a primitive will try to administer a little sanity, but they are quckly shouted down or given the granite.

I cringe every time I see someone post the "remember down the road not across the street" graphic.  I don't think that's right under any circumstance, even if the target is being melodramatic and saying they are going do themselves in.

I cringe when I see posts about underground panther, I think she is truly mentally ill.

I'm not particularly fond of the jokes about using them for target practice but I get where they're coming from.

I would not use information that someone posted on a website or message board to get them fired or research out their real names and addresses and post them.  I'm not really criticizing that per se but I wouldn't do it.

Of the things I mentioned the suicide thing is probably the only one the really bothers me.  The others, not things I would do but to each his own.

Are they far, far more hate filled over there?  Absolutely.

Do we have to answer in kind?  Not so sure about that.

HUH? I don't think any of these things are promoted here. What site are you referring to?

Well, the "suicide" thingy has been posted here numerous times.  I'm not a fan of it either, but to each their own.

I also cringe at the underground panther posts.  It needs to institutionalized, not posting at the DUmp.

Mau10man did get a DUmmy fired from his job.  DUmmy Walldud posted that he was going to sabatoge the Christian convention he was working at.  And of course, the idiot posted exactly where the convention was being held.  If you're going to publicly post crap like that, he definitely deserved what he got.

I'm not a fan of it myself, but it's pretty mild compared with the primitive comments of similar natures.

Maybe, but I blame in it on my fellow alum Skins.

I'm sure that her psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists have cautioned the subway cat she shouldn't be posting on Skins's island, as it's not good for her mental health, but the subway cat blithely ignores them.

If I were my fellow alum, I would require that mentally-ill primitives submit a note--black ink on white paper, no cyberspace "documents"--from a practicing psychiatrist or psychologist giving the primitive permission to post.

No note, no posting on Skins's island.

Yeah, the wallpaper dude got exactly what he deserved.

Exactly.  And he still blames us for his own massive OPSEC breach.  ('Course, I'm not unhappy he got fired--more along the lines of, "Serves his sorry ass right.")

There are times that I feel that way also; however, they are few and far between. I have no doubt that she's crazy, but I do question the extent of her "mental illness".

This is difficult to explain in writing. She doesn't work for a living, yet based on her photos she's got money for tattoos. She's got a place to live. She's got food to eat. She's got internet access. She's apparently got doctors/therapists. Her "mental illness" seems to be paying better than my business.

I'm reminded of the old joke where Jesus walks into a bar. He touches one patron and heals him of his ailment. He touches another patron and heals him of his ailment. As Jesus nears the next patron the patron says, "Don't touch me Jesus I'm on disability!"
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

I have no doubt that she's pathetic. I also have no doubt that she's gaming the system. I said as much in my post. I would agree that she's probably no more mentally ill than you or I. As far as crazy goes though, she's a hell of a lot crazier than I am.

I strongly support suicide as the ultimate solution to the DUmmy's problems. Especially if they get off their asses and do it before November.
