OK, let's settle this

Some of you may have seen this thread I posted on a different venue regarding Vodka lemonades.  I was at a bar a couple of weeks ago, and they had a very nice special on Vodka lemonades.  However, they only served them with PINK lemonade.  A bunch of guys that I play golf with also drink Vodka lemonades on a regular basis (meaning constantly), and my country club only serves pink lemonade as well.

So, answer the poll and give me your reasons...is it "teh Ghey" to drink Vodka lemonades with pink lemonade?

I've never understood the reasoning behind "pink" lemonade. I'd suggest you inform the management of your desire to drink REAL lemonade, none of this "pink" crap.

As someone astutely mentioned recently, they've never seen pink lemons, so why is there pink lemonade?

I think pink lemonade may actually originate from people adding bitters to lemonade, but we somehow evolved away from that and just started using food dye.

Well there is one lemon that is pink~  the Eureka Pink Lemon, it has a variegated skin, and pink flesh.  But they don't make pink lemonade with em.  Pink lemonade used to be made with grenadine, and still is, in some places.  Others make it with with cranberry juice or food dye.

Absolute-ly nothing wrong with vodka lemonade.....Cruzan Black Cherry Rum is very good also.

To me, pink lemonade is sweeter than regular lemonade.

Men should not be drinking pink drinks....it's unfortunate that bars only by pink cranberry juice instead of white cranberry.

Lemonade at the 19th Hole should definitely not be pink unless they are contributing part of the profits to Breast Cancer research.

Can you prove that consuming effeminate drinks won't make a man effeminate?? It IS proven that drinking soy milk increases estrogen in men. High estrogen levels= effeminazation.

I highly doubt that an increase in red dye would cause any estrogen related issues.  If it was regular lemonade and vodka, that would be ok, but because it is pink, then that makes it effeminate??? 

So, what you are saying is that if a male eats/drinks anything pink, that makes them effeminate???

You can put all kinds of mixers/drinks in with teh ghey thing:

1.  Any fruit or juice with passion in it or around it. WTF? Passion? You want passion, go see a smut flick.
2.  Any drink that ends in -schnapps. you want schnapps? Go to Germany and drink a Magenbitter - it'll set you free.
3.  Any drink with honey in it. Sweet drinks are automatically teh ghey.
4.  Any drink that has a goofy name like "Harvey Wallbanger". Who the hell was Harvey Wallbanger anyway?
5.  Any drink with faux violence in it like "Irish Car Bomb" or "Kamikaze". You want something violent? Watch a Dirty Harry flick.

My wife made a punch for a bachelorette party that we went to that was called Panty Dropper. It didn't fit into any of the categories you listed.  :naughty:
