Happy Groundhog Day
« on: February 02, 2010, 05:26:15 AM »
Except in Alaska

There are five of them:

Quote
The most famous groundhog is Punxsutawney Phil. The five other furry forecasters are: Balzac Billy of Alberta, Canada; General Beauregard Lee of Lilburn, Georgia; Shubenacadie Sam of Nova Scotia, Canada; Staten Island Chuck of New York, New York (I hear he’s a Yankee fan) and Wiarton Willie of Ontario, Canada.
  link

I expect they are more accurate than the global warming crowd.  :-)

I'd prefer using a 408 Cheytac but the result is similar enough.

I could do with the cold.  But for whatever reason the lack of sunshine is hitting me hard this year.

11 this morning.  Six more weeks of winter?  I 'effin WISH!  I'll have snow in my yard until late April/early May.

Work--5-year security screen/psych test this afternoon.  700 (yes, 700) question test of some of the most bizarre shit you'll ever see, like, "Do you like your mother?" and "Do you think you're a special messenger of God?"

This ought to be a hoot.

I think those who craft those kinds of tests ought to be given psych evals all on their own. Something ain't right with those people.

That seems to be a little overkill for a damned groundhog.......

It's 36 with a WC of 28, cloudy, foggy, snow on the ground, drizzling something from the air.....supposed to clear off sometime today and tomorrow...then 3 more days of rainy stuff....

It's Groundhog Day....again.....

I'm with you Tots....I don't usually get bothered by the rain....however, after this last spring, summer, fall and now the winter is turning in to the same way...it's really getting to me.  :(

Have a report to do today....maybe bake something...
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Save the Earth... it's the only planet with chocolate.

"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far I've finished two bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already." – Dave Barry

A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.
