I had a JW call me a couple of weeks ago--on a Saturday.  I engaged the caller in conversation, and when I mentioned that I was Catholic, they were in a hurry to end the call . . .

Yeah, I always wondered about that.

Why do they react that way when seeing us?

I welcome anyone from a religious org. into my home. Good well meaning people that are not going to steal my spoons.  In site into how others think and view life is important to me.

Yes we have freepers in this part of the world too.

Some freepers just came to my door, saying the earthquakes and floods are God's work because
he is angry with the world. I just told them i was busy, I should of gone DU on their butts.

These are not Goons these are average people that spend their free time with their kids trying to save our souls.      They are sincere people who have been on step ahead of us.

I like these people and admire them for surviving so far.  I have read that in Europe after the WW2 there were less the 1,200 left.

I loved to read both Awake and the Watchtower Last time they came to my door they did not leave them free for them as in the past, they wanted $5,00 for the both.

My biggest problem with the publications was there was no credit to the writer.   No way to write in any ideas to them.

These are sincere people, to get a laugh out of scaring them, is only to strengthen their own faith. Just giving them more ammo for their spiritual guns. 

It does not harm you when the Mormons or JW show up. Unless busy, why not take 15 minutes out of your life to hear them out.?   

If the DELI LAMA showed up on your door step would you turn him away?

Say you are a Southern Baptist , if the POPE came to visit, would you slam the door in his face.?

Much to be learned from those different from us, if we truly believe in our faith, then the other view is for augmention to accept or reject.

Belief that is on solid ground can listen to other views and listen with an open mind.  Those whose who have a faith that is on shaky ground are the ones that fear other ideas will cause us to question our faith.

What happens to our intelect when we turn a back on the different and the different ideas.?     Should we not be open to listen to all ideas.

Only those who have shaky faith in their faith would fear the ideas of others.
