BeFree is a new face in the Dungeon. He/she/it has started several threads there, all on 30 JAN 2010. Apparently he/she/it dissapiered for a time, but now is back. Here are the OP for BeFree's super smart thinking threads...

What Happened?
Bush knew. And bushco could have stopped it.

Which leads to: Why didn't they stop it?

Which leads to: If bushco knew, and they didn't stop it, then maybe they had a hand in it?

Fairly logical avenue of thought, don't you think?

The Greatest Conspiracy Theory Ever Told
There was this guy, about 2010 years ago, who was a radical liberal.

He fed the poor, healed the sick, and railed against the establishment.

So a few nameless leaders gathered together and had him eliminated.

They conspired together to get rid of this fine man. And they did. And they got away with it. But today, their conspiracy is widely recognized.

And some people to this day still deny conspiracies exist. Gawd.

Official Conspiracy Theory Bible Chptr 1
In the beginning the word was Bush, and Bush looked around and saw it was good time to raise hell.

On the first day Bush made votes go away and kept the rest of the votes from being counted.

On the second day he made Cheney his puppetter.

On the third day he told Afghan that they had a choice of gold or bombs.

Fourth day he made Cheney the lord over terrorists.

Fifth day he got his daily briefing and waved off the warning.

On the sixth day he read the book Petgoat as America was attacked.

And on the seventh day he went shopping and declared he had hit the trifecta.

Honest Discussions-- 10 Steps
 1. Do not overstate the power of your argument.

2. Show a willingness to publicly acknowledge that reasonable alternative viewpoints exist.

3. Be willing to publicly acknowledge and question one’s own assumptions and biases.

4. Be willing to publicly acknowledge where your argument is weak.

5. Be willing to publicly acknowledge when you are wrong. Those selling an ideology likewise have great difficulty admitting to being wrong, as this undercuts the rhetoric and image that is being sold.

6. Demonstrate consistency. A clear sign of intellectual dishonesty is when someone extensively relies on double standards.

7. Address the argument instead of attacking the person making the argument.

8. When addressing an argument, do not misrepresent it.

9. Show a commitment to critical thinking.

10. Be willing to publicly acknowledge when a point or criticism is good.

I really wish the DUmmies would settle on whether President Bush was the stupidest person on the planet or a brilliant genius.  They can't have it both ways.

Did you see the threads were it demanded that we drop tons of food and water on the Haitians heads? It didn't follow it's own 10-Step program.

You are big brave boys, you can take a bit of painting from us little folks, eh?

I was indoctrinated into the military at an early age. I know a bit about the mentality that pervades it, and decided at an early age to say **** that shit. My right as an American, wouldn't you say? You know, constitution and all that?

Anyway, thanks for your service. Just remember why you are serving and we'll all get along just fine.

As for today, I have serious and grave questions as to why the brass is not moving as fast as it should against an unarmed and docile population. What is it they are afraid of? Do they need tanks? Why all the machine guns on the airstrip?

And if manpower on the ground is so scarce, why not hire a bunch of the citizens there to help move the stuff?

I guess, the thing is, just what is the big bad military afraid of?

I guess this is commentary on Haiti...

I hear the cries of the people dying and I am dumb? No. It is you who are dumb.

WE spend trillions on the military and it's been 80 hours.

When will you be happy? 100 hours? 120? When? What is your limit?

My limit has been reached. NO MORE EXCUSES. I do not exist to protect the military.

seriously...these two are jacking off in rhythem....
