Who convinced so many poor people to put the interests of the wealthy above all?

Was it Reagan with his "Greed is good" ideology? Was it Rush Limbaugh with his constant accusations of "class warfare?"

Was it Faux News? Was it the religious right?

It's just sickening to see so many people of below-modest means to vote for politicians who only give a **** about their absurdly rich lobbyist friends.

Who bailed out the bankers and Wallstreet? Can you say 0Bama? I knew you could.  Did you vote for him?

1. One way is to use social issues to divide.

Social issues like race and abortion. People will vote for the anti-choice candidate even if it is not in their own interests. Or in the case of *, they wanted to have a beer with him or in the case of Palin, "she's just like me."

Maybe they put morals above greed?  OTOH , most blacks are anti-gay, and anti-abortion yet they consistently vote DimRats, so at least some people vote based on what the government can do for them.  Also, the DimRats are well known for using those same social issues to divide.

3. False premise. No one, especially poor people, put wealthy interests first. Got examples?

Of course not.  Most DUmmies just vote for the candidate that promises them the most free stuff, and they can't understand why everyone else doesn't.

Sane people (conservatives; normal folk) are not emotionally paralyzed by the though of another person having "wealth".

That's the big difference between Little Goons and the rest of the world.

Why is it that these people find it so hard to see that the 0bama administration is a lobbyist employment agency? Not to mention, aren't there around 8 Goldman Sachs (former?) employees? AIG? Whose interests do they serve? So far handouts have all been to corporations but DUmmie's are so easily snowed that if a person has a D behind their name and says the same trite crap they've been spewing since the 60's they must "care" about the poor? Somehow they never seem to get past the superficial and analyze whether pretty phrases and pandering really work. But what what else to expect with people who are so superficial the only reason they can think of that someone would dislike a leader is because of skin pigment.

Some people just don't see it that way. Some people have an innate sense of fairness which causes them to rebel against the idea of punishing someone or treating them differently simply because they've been able to achieve more than others. Some people have a sense of honor which precludes them from desiring that others be stripped of their possessions so that they can be redistributed to them. Some people are just not hateful and jealous of those who have more material things, and hold other qualities of government as more important than whatever personal largess it can provide.

I know those are foreign concepts to you DUmbasses, but there it is.

Maybe some of us "have nots" want out children to at least have an opportunity to "have"....DUmmie socialism takes away that opportunity.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Was it Reagan with his "Greed is good" ideology?

Revisionist history AGAIN! :banghead:

Obviously, there is nothing wrong with greed to a certain extent, but you're thinking about Gordon Gekko from the movie Wall Street, you idiots, not President Reagan.

Nothing is more greedy than government. It produces nothing.
