Child pornography
« on: January 30, 2010, 08:54:22 PM »
Okay, I am not stupid. As much as I HATE it nudity of children online is legal if they are in a non-sexual images.

But what if a hardcore PORN site is showing them? If a literal PORN site is showing those otherwise legal images, it violates the law right?

I don't know the law one way or the other on the point, but my first gut reaction would be that it wasn't illegal unless the placement of the otherwise-legal images was done in such a way as to imply sexual relations with the pictured child.

I am thinking that a hard core porn site isn't supposed to have kids at all. I would think.

Any and all of the models portrayed on the site - regardless of anything - should be over the legal age in the district that both the viewer and the website host are in.

Problem with that is there are some nasty people out there will hire models that are of age but look much younger.  They will recruit young flat chested woman and surround them with the trappings of a young teenage girl.

Intent comes in here, is it the buyers intent to buy Kiddie Porn, or. the intent of the producers to hoodwink their customers legally.?

What about the laws regarding drawings, cartoon books and movies.?  The images are of no existant entities, they live only in the mind of the artist and interpreted by the on looker.

Like the old ink blot test, we may see birds or flowers and another may see a gang rape.

Layers and strata's to this question, the lengths people will go to to produce or buy this stuff is off the chart. This is nothing new, human trafficking is and has been a part of the world of humans since day one.

It hides under respecifical  life , the baby's of 3-6 that are made up to look a dozen of years older in talent shows still have no idea what happend to that child found dead in her own home.

The parents that allow their children to take a walk on the wild side, 10 year old dressed as hookers at the mall, 13 year old with body piercings and tattoos.

The ignorant workers at a Photo shop that call the cops when they developer film of kids playing in the bath tub.

Then this latest bit of who owns the tape.  Grown adults who for some reason believed it would be a good idea to tape a married man and his mistress bare ass naked.    This Edwards guy has children that may not wish to see their old man in action.

Big problem for a society that that has up until 50 years ago  never seen this stuff. I am sure in the big city's there was child trafficking but for the rest of this country it comes as a shock.

I was raised in places that were small and there was allways that one man or woman in town that we kids were told to stay away from.    Today, unless we check out our states registry of sex offenders we could have 5 living with in a mile of us.

This has really gotten out of hand, the explosion of female teachers educating our sons at an early age, the number of high profile leaders in Government that pray on the kids that are Pages in Congress. email them or checking out young men in public restrooms.

This is a male problem for the most part, I applaud the on line cops that are trying to OUT these very strange men.

Laws are different from state to state, what to do if one has children or grand children.

For one I believe that the male in the family  should start laying Down the law as to their daughters.  ----Like my dad when I at 13-14 came into the kitchen wearing a very short skirt and a tight shirt, he forbid me to wear my outfit outside the house, as he said  "  I am a man and I know how they think. "

Damn, Layers and layers of life.

While I'm against "kiddie porn", wouldn't it matter as to what the country's laws are where the porn originated?? I'm not familiar with all of the various countries laws. Then, should we allow the internet to be censored because of the what would be illegal images in this country?? Once we start censoring one thing, how long will it be until something else becomes "censored"?? Where does the censorship end??  If we do start censoring things, then does that make us no better than Communist China??  These are just thoughts and questions that pop into my mind.
