Soctt Roeder guilty of 1st degree murder

I'm going to have to go with Schade here.  While I can't see myself doing something like this, I can see the rational behind it.  By taking one life you could save many...

I don't condone Roeder's actions, but I can see the rational behind them.

You stated it much better than me. It has been a bloody awful exhausted mess of a week this week, I can hardly see straight and I get waterboarded by BEG on my first post.

I didn't say I had sympathy for the man.  I am not trying to offend but unless you could physically do what Scott Roeder did then I don't think you can say you TRULY understand his frame of mind.  It's easy to sit on the bleachers and cheer him on, it's another thing to do it yourself.

I think what I am saying is murder is murder, but I can comprehend and to some extent defend Roeder's rationale over that of say Tiller's. I can also understand why a soldier might kill a combatant when I know they are crushing  evil even if I think I might be unable to grab arms and kill someone.

OK I get your point.   I just think he hurt the cause much more than he helped.

If this happens with increasing frequency no one is going to volunteer to kill off babies anymore.  I already think that these men and women that do this are sociopaths.  They would really have to be insane to know they are on hit lists and still do it.
