Frank, I am happy you brought this up.  Right now, I am so danged mad at myself I can't see straight.

I got home early enough to hear the Republican debate, Debra Medina made it to the second round.  I taped it to watch later, as I had some business to take care of.  At the end of it, they had the reminder to register to vote.  Well, when I moved this summer I changed my address, and requested an updated voter's registration card.  TODAY I find out, I am still registered in the other county.  DAGGUM.  I have to go to the boyfriend's house tomorrow am, to print out my form and mail it, postponing my trip to Killeen, because it must be received by Monday, or I can't dang vote.    :banghead:

I am so dissapointed in myself.   :bawl:

From the SOS

Q: I'm not registered, but want to vote in the March Primary Election; how can I be sure that I'm registered in time to vote?

A: The deadline to register and be eligible to vote in the March 2, 2010 Primary Election is February 1, 2010. This can be either the postmark date or the date the application is received in the office of the voter registrar. You may, of course, register at any time before that date to ensure that your registration is effective for voting in March. You can obtain a voter registration application from your voter registrar's office, libraries, most post offices, high schools, or from this office.

I put it in the post office Saturday, so I should be good.  Just a little freaking out.

In Colorado, democrat senator Michael Bennet has the personal appeal of having your teeth cleaned. He was appointed to replace Salazar who went on to Dept of Interior and proceeded to worsen matters for the state's critical oilfield industry. This was accomplished byt the single vote of Gov. Ritter who declined re-election under a cloud of suspicion over the  Cory Voorhis affair. In short: Bennett is toast, we just need to find out which side he's gonna be buttered on.

Meanwhile, the GOP contenders are all but eviscerating each other to prove their conservative credentials. Where liberals fear their title the conservatives are trying to paint their's in as bright a color as large as possible.

The agenda is ours to lose.

Texicans: Don't forget to check to see if you have anyone in the April 13th Runoff. Early voting is April 5-9.

I only have three: Supreme Court Justice (Rick Green or Debra Lehrman), Place 3; Judge, County Court at Law No. 1 (Kimberly McCary or Chance Oliver); and Judge, County Probate Court (Robert Ramirez or Bonnie Robison)

I voted in the primary in Rochester, NY. Those new electronic machines had all of the workers confused, and it seems like they use more paper than the old lever machines.

I'm all about Paladino right now, NY needs him! He said he'd go up to Albany with a baseball bat.
