Do Corporate Owners have twice the Free Speech?

One aspect of giving a Corporation full First Amendment Rights is that it also gives its owners double the protected free speech channels. Once as an individual and secondly as (and through) a Corporation. Is it Unconstitutional to allow increased free speech as a Corporate owner over a non-Corporate-owning private Citizen? Has this double-dip argument been made before and does it appear to have any legal promise as a way to challenge the SCOTUS's recent ruling in Citizens United v. FEC.

I own a corporation.   I got more free speech than you. nanna nanna boo boo!!

Unless they are conflicting views what difference could it possible make?  The message remains the same, I would hope, so no "extra" free speech could be realized.

What if the CEO bought a gun with his private funds and then bought a gun with a corporate check?  Would that be extra rights?

The Democrat and Republican parties are simply the left and right wings of the same bird of prey.

We have freedom of assembly. We are free to assemble and incorporate our views as a group. This is what DU does, this is what a political party does. I guess this must be banned, that pesky First Amendment. A book, like one from Sean Hannity, is published by a corporation. a TV show is on a channel owned by a corporation, many websites are owned by corporations... and Barack Obama's administration stood in front of the SCOTUS and declared himself the power to BAN BOOKS ETC ETC

How did you think they would rule?

Imagine that I have free speech.

If I have unfettered free speech, how can I possibly get MORE?????

You're right, DUmmy. And our next move will be to argue that if they have free speech, and if they're people, they should have the vote. One vote for each outstanding share of common stock. What will the muslim say about that in his next State of the Union? If he's gonna go ghetto in his speech, he may as well have a reason for it.

Free speech as an apple pie, to be divied up and allotted to each of you.  This, I believe I can safely proclaim, is the stupidest post of the day.

Through our investments, we all have pieces of probably thousands of corporations, just on CC.  What a wealth of free speech!  What are you going to spend yours on first?  I think I'll buy a unicorn, because then I'll get free skittles!  Then I can sell them at convenience stores and make a fortune!

And look at that DUmbass trying to be a constitutional scholar.

Reminds me of the scene in Spinal Tap when the guitarist can't get it through to the documentary interviewer that his goes to 11.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I know when these people think "corporation" they think "Goldman Sachs" (why wouldn't they since half of them are in the 0bama administration) but my little local feed store is own by a family is a "corporation" as is my BIL's lighting store. The law also means groups like the NRA will have the same voice and George Soros...I'm guessing there are equivalent groups on the left, though why they'd be necessary I can't say with unions, banks, financial institutions, filthy rich Hollywood types, and a 527 for every little thing from special rights for people with hangnails to the "committee to change my pony order to a unicorn". Honestly, if congress can use OUR money to bribe their fellow congresspeople, then I don't see why private companies shouldn't be able to use their OWN earned money to support candidates and causes.

Which is must for the ever rigid and easily upset dummies. I imagine they are the same people who lost their minds over blank pages in books, thus requiring the, "This page intentionally left blank."

As for this particular dummy, couldn't he just type his campaign material twice?  ::) This is just one more example of the dummies' zero sum universe and shackles to death and destruction. They are unable to grasp the idea of someone creating something, wealth for example, without it being taken away from someone else.

As far as the "equivalent groups on the left", you forgot the alphabet, lameass, "see no dim do anything wrong", got Zero elected, "non-partisan", "got tingles up the leg"  press corps.

Double the free speech? Hmm. O.K. I'll take it. That way we can more effectively combat the lefts double speak, double dealing and double teaming on traditional American values. We'll just give them a double dose of reality by using one of Reagan's body doubles and double down on the Constitution. I see an opportunity for us to have double the pleasure and double the fun.

Well, democrats are the cheapest kind.....and probably made in China.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Actually if they have that printed on the page then the page is not blank because it has that text on it.  :-)
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.
