Now, back on topic...

10. It's near the end of the speech, with the section which begins,
"In the end, it's our ideals,"

Do a search for that. That's where you can tell Obama's winding up his speech and people get politely quiet (not that there's been a lot of restless shuffling before that, come to think of it). By the time he gets to, "No wonder there's so much cynicism out there." it's utterly quiet and then Obama's voice becomes softer still, so that people are almost straining to hear the next passages. It's effective stagecraft.

Maybe they were asleep. Or maybe playing possum; he'd go away and leave them alone.

Figures. The rest of the country is having a collective case of buyer's remorse, they find religion. Anyone who wasn't embarrassed wasn't paying attention. Even the foreign press is chastising him. What I saw was platitudes and a temper tantrum from someone who is clearly in way over his head.

The angry anguished primitive is a mole, but not mine, in case anyone asks.

I was going to out him as a mole after that comment.  It was just too moley to be real.
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

I am continually amazed at how strong the human skull is, to be able to withstand the amount of cognitive dissonance DU'ers and liberals create for themselves without literally exploding.
