God what a moron.
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

It's moments like this that just have to make MSNBC swell with pride, isn't it?

It's not Chris Matthews, but CNN isn't much better than MSNBC.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

Chrissy forgot he was black because he didn't use that "negro dialect".

I don't know how else you could take it Snuggs.  Insert any profession for Obama and how does it come off?   "My doctor is really wonderful. You know, I forgot he was black tonight for an hour."  "Wow that kid is really smart.  You know, I forgot he was black tonight for an hour."  What did you think he was trying to say?

Hi,

That has to be one of the dumbest remarks going.  If I was a black I would be furious......and I am furious anyway that they give him a free pass for the remark.

Well, Rush has made some dooseys, too.

That said... the quote in the OP was a stupid remark that everyone should find offensive.

Obviously Chris Mouthspews was trying to advance Obama's propaganda about being the "post-racial" president. By way of that he tried to say Obama was so-o-o-o radiant no one could even consider his race.

But leave it to a libtard to draw attention to the very thing he claims to want to not focus on...and in a particularly ham-fisted, head-up-ass delivery.

You realize most of those quotes were lifted from Media Matters, or were in fact outright made up?

FAIL.

"Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?"
"Take that bone out of your nose and call me back."

He admits to those two, though. I'm not sure he's a racist, but I do think he's made some phenomenally stupid choices of wording in several instances. If those two are made up, I can't find any proof of it.

But I've never liked Limbaugh... then again, I tend not to trust most media talking heads.

Searching on google a bit and trying to dig through the mountains of media links:

Been doing a little Googling myself. Tracked the bone/nose comment back to the early seventies. Limbaugh did show remorse for that.

So, maybe it was just a very stupid offhanded remark in his early career? I still dislike it.
