On a Positive Note

The Democrats in MA have a huge, well oiled GOTV machine.

It very well could make a big difference.

I can't sleep, but I gotta try, cause I have to get up early to vote in the am for Martha!

Good night and GO MARTHA!

7. I've received no calls or knocks. Maybe it's because I volunteered
But I got 2 knocks from Brown. This worries me.

I dunno.

I'm still pessimistic about the outcome, given the strength of the corrupt political machine that runs Boston and Massachusetts, but this morning somewhat less so.

I think it's about time we took back Henry Cabot Lodge's Senate seat.

I'm right there with you in the pessimism box - I can't shake the sense that there will be a massive amount of very cunning, very sophisticated, very covert Democrat dirty tricks played today.

I suspect there will be no reports of vote tallies out of the Boston area until it is either too far out of hand or they see just how many they need.

Maybe many people, in the past, just didn't vote as they felt their vote would not be enough to get a Kennedy out of office.

Now they are willing to go out and vote, as they think Brown has a chance.

Kennedy was not going to get replaced....just because he was a Kennedy.

People don't have an attachment, affection, or whatever type of kinship ....to Coakley.

I don't think there are as many Democrats wearing rose-colored glasses now as there were 15 months ago. Those life-lines that they were expecting....homes saved, jobs saved/created, checks in the mail, steak on the new grill instead of beans in a pot on the old stove.....have not happened.

Big money promised to Nebraska....where the hell is that and why do they matter?

Big money promised to Louisianna.....didn't they get enough from Katrina?

What are we - the people of Massachusetts getting?

Then Coakley doesn't know squat about the Red Sox and Obama insults pickup drivers.... :thatsright:

She doesn't have a chance.....

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

Brown will win by eight points. :fuelfire:

It is indeed difficult to imagine an honest result in favor of Brown seeing the light of day, with the Democrat record of skulduggery and corruption to date.  Still, the turnabout developed quickly, too quickly for most 'Community organizer' shenanigans to be put in place, and stranger things have happened.

Unless Brown's percentage lead ends up in the double digits, teens at least, Coakley is going to take it. Not win, but take the election. I'm sure we'll see Boston districts waiting to report until the latest so they know how many ballot boxes they need to "find."

Bob Beckel was on Hannity last night....he came right out and said, that everyone is watching MA today, and they would not be stupid enough to try and pull anything with the election or getting Brown sworn in.

Shocked the heck out of Hannity... :-)

Beckel? Actually he said it with a very solemn face. He looked downright depressed. Hannity was eating it up!

I agree. I thought our repuke chances were slim and none, until the drunken Pitt said the dems had it in the bank. Given his political wisdom, I saw that as the end of Coakley's chances. Pitt's accuracy in political matters is worse than Lee Corso predicting college football games. I believe the curling iron is already lubed and warming up.
