Oh my.

But if I were a primitive, I wouldn't worry.

The machine's going to pull out a Coakley victory, no matter the real vote.

Kerry Charges Brown With Palin-Like Tactics As Dems Prepare For Worst

Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) lashed out at Scott Brown's Massachusetts senatorial campaign on Monday for adopting "intimidation tactics" that he deemed "reminiscent of the dangerous atmosphere of Sarah Palin's 2008 campaign rallies."

In a post to his own site, Kerry insisted that reports of out-of-state tea party protesters showing up at Brown rallies, the vandalizing of Martha Coakley signs, and the threats of violence and rape directed at Coakley herself were "not how we do business in Massachusetts."

The broadside by Kerry came as Democratic Party officials braced themselves for an election that seemed increasingly out of grasp. While polling numbers for the Coakley campaign took a small turn upwards on the campaign's final days, in private the picture looks quite dim. Indeed, sources say that Republicans in the state are jubilant with their position -- with internal surveys showing Brown up around five percentage points or more. A Politico poll conducted by the firm InsiderAdvantage on Sunday showed Brown surging to a nine-point advantage over Coakley.

<SNIP>

In the case of Brown v. Coakley, there have been several incidents that have party members somewhere between concerned and outraged. On Sunday, an attendee at a Brown event called for the candidate to stick a curling iron up Coakley's butt. The next day, a comment was left on Facebook from a woman hoping that Coakley would get shot.

A source in the state's attorney general's office confirmed to the Huffington Post that police officials had investigated the Facebook poster. They also relayed that she likely had some connection to the Brown campaign. "I believe she did make a statement in her discussion that she was affiliated with the brown campaign though I'm not sure if it was staffer or a volunteer," said the law enforcement official.

1. Too bad this is *after* Coakley was MIA for so long

If Capuano had won the primary, he would have been fighting the Republicans from day one because it's fun for him.

3. Yeah, I'm not going to jinx this..I'll prepare for the worst case scenario of having a sociopath as the Jr Senator in Mass taking over Teddy's Seat but I'm hoping for the Best with Martha Coakley winning that seat and going on to becoming a great Senator in her own right.

5. Politico is BS and I think the coverage has been very lopsided.

We shall see if Mass. really falls for this phony and what he stands for.

I say Coakley is going to win-no matter how the RW press tries to spin this.

Of course Coakley's going to win, no matter the vote count.

The machine's not going to lose.

Other than one misguided poll, Coakley still has a lead going into tomorrow's elections. If MA Democrats do their part in GOTV, Martha will beat Brown with room to spare.

It wasn't the fault of the NBP gentlemen.  The crackas in that line were just typical white folks, who cross the street when they see a black person.  Their own racism made them fearful, not anything the NBPs were doing. [/DUmmy white guilt mode]

I've got to disagree with you, Coach--I think that Brown wins by eight points.  When there are pics in existence of SEIU members with Brown signs (as BadCat and others have posted here) around, something is disturbing The Machine to the point that it can't recover.

Last I checked just about every poll over the weekend had Brown ahead.

This bears repeating one more time for the lurking DUmb****s.

Nobody stole shit. Bush won Florida by 535 votes. Just like they originally said on election night. Numerous DUmmie recounts and recounts paid for by the media ALL came back with Bush as the winner. Every. single. one.

The "mob" as you call it was citizens protesting the DEMOCRAT attempts to steal the election by invalidating their votes. They came, they made their case known and they left. No mob, no riot, no violence. No problems.

All facts, all truth, so suck it DUmmies. You lose.

I'm still worried about this being some DimRat plot to give Brown the seat.  Afterwards the DimRats will blame the HCR failure on obstructionist Rethuglicans, and campaign on that for the 2010 fall elections to get an even bigger majority.

I browsed a dump post the other day with the actual enrolled voter totals for the People's Rebublik Of Taxachusetts.  It laid out the pretty sobering fact that even if all the dims vote in lock step they will still lose if they don't get a majority of the independents.

Here is a link to that information ( similar to the dump post which I can't seem to find again ).

Ah but the Dems do have something up their sleeve and it ain't no rabbit.

I caught just bits and pieces of Fox News and some insider was telling of plans to by pass all the discussions on health care and go with some plan they had months ago.  I missed so much of that show due to interruptions I do wish they would replay that segment again.  It sounded like the Dems are prepared to thumb their noses at us because they found a loop hole.

It's going to be a long day for me tomorrow, watching the votes come in. How much more can this country take of leaders that represent themselves and not the people.

Lame...even for Kerry.

Some mole needs to point out the curling iron story again in that thread.

The reason a curling iron was mentioned was because of this:

Quote
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2010/01/06/some_saw_coakley_as_lax_on_05_rape_case/

In October 2005, a Somerville police officer living in Melrose raped his 23-month-old niece with a hot object, most likely a curling iron.

Keith Winfield, then 31, told police he was alone with the toddler that day and made additional statements that would ultimately be used to convict him.

But in the aftermath of the crime, a Middlesex County grand jury overseen by Martha Coakley, then the district attorney, investigated without taking action.

It was only after the toddler’s mother filed applications for criminal complaints that Coakley won grand jury indictments charging rape and assault and battery.

cont......

I have to agree with you there. How in the world can one look at traditional American values versus the tyrannical and perverted left and not take a side? How can one stand there and watch the democrat prance around in transvestite garb, looking for babies to murder and say, "Gee. I just can't decide."

What ree said.  A lot of people respond as Independent because they don't like either party, a feeling with which I'm sure most of us can sympathize.  Hating the existing choices does NOT mean they are necessarily Left, Right, or Center, though.
