1. Sun just came out in the SF Bay Area

Time to run a few errands while the sun doth shine. We know it is going to get worse as the week goes by.

Thanks for posting the image.

3. All of my critters are freaking out. It's POURING here!

Big wind and BUCKETS of rain.

My pump outside is working overtime and I sure hope it doesn't go out.

The pool is about to overflow- never seen that before.

Yikes.

Stay safe WillyT!

I'm not going ANY where until this breaks.

Wow.

A primitive owns a house with a private swimming pool?

Isn't that rather unproletariat?

4. 5 days of rain expected in Arizona!

Unbelievable! The most rainy days I've ever seen here is 3 in a row.

I know we need rain but we don't need it all at once.

But now its raining like crazy! Stuck inside with two toddlers going bananas...help!

Read that it was supposed to be as bad as the 98 el nino season. Can't imagine it being that bad though. That was a rain storm that simply never stopped. We had to move from our apartment of ten years because it was raining in every room. We had plastic trash cans lining the hallway to catch the rain. Landlord replaced the roof during a brief stop in rain, but then had to gut the top apartment in the springtime. We're on the top floor in another building....hope it doesn't get that bad.

Stay safe everybody!

What annoys me is the term "SF Bay Area." I lived in SF for over a decade. If you live there, it's called "The City". If you don't live there it means you're poor. The only people who use the term "SF Bay Area" are from San Jose....just more code I guess.

But Cali get's some nasty weather...pretty much every year. I guess the Cali primitives keep forgetting that. I guess marijuana really does impair short term memory.

Uh.......

Knock knock.
Who's there?
EL NINO.
El Nino who?
EL NINO pay attention to the news DUmmie!

Quote
“Temperature and precipitation impacts over the United States are typically weak during the Northern Hemisphere summer and early fall, generally strengthening during the late fall and winter,” the statement said.

El Nino occurs every two to five years, on average, and lasts about 12 months.

Warming in the Pacific often means fewer Atlantic hurricanes and warmer temperatures in the U.S. Northeast during January, February and March, according to the National Weather Service. It can also bring more rain to California and disrupt agriculture and fishing in South America.

2" of rain, gust up to 40 mph...... :rotf:....that's a real storm.....I'm laughing my ass off here.... :rotf:

I'd like to see DUmmie ride out a hurricane........ :rotf:

We had 13" of rain in 5 hours with sustained winds of over 120 mph here during hurricane Hugo. I've been through several lesser ones.....you know, some like Katrina in NO.

Look, I know it sounds wimpy, but these people live in yurts and trailers and whatnot. The ones living in houses had theirs built by illegals using whatever cast off debris the Chinese couldn't palm off on their own citizenry.

Last year I drove up the 5 from SoCal during a big storm and saw over a dozen cars all fudged up by the side of the road. Granted most of them had Obama stickers on the bumpers, but still....

DUmmies always mention bad weather in detail, and remark on how it's never been like this before. It's their way to reassure themselves that the  manbearpig is right, and American industry is destroying the "planet". If we would outlaw electricity and internal combustion, it would always be sunny and 70 degrees. But the BFEE just keeps destroying the "planet".

You want to know how petty these turd burglars are? The term SF Bay Area is a compromise. It started with the airlines. When San Jose's population began to eclipse that of S.F. they started announcing "welcome to San Jose San Francisco international airport..." over the in flight p.a. Well, the pillow biters got real upset, real fast. So a compromise was settled on so S.F. could keep it's (lol) dignity.

Now everyone uses it, but it really means S.F. is a small, provincial, petty little town. The reasoning was that no tourist would want to fly into San Jose.

Damn. I think Daly City is bigger than S.F.

I haven't checked yet, but I suspect Omaha, Nebraska's bigger than San Francisco now.

And Nebraska's one of the smallest states in the union, remember.

Quite a comedown for San Francisco.

SF used to be one of the top cities in America. You wouldn't believe how many automobiles there were in 1906 for instance. Here is a film made "days before the big 1906 quake".
