Please kick, recommend and contact the mods if you want mzteris to stop
   
posting about the alleged incident another teacher was involved in that led to her firing. This is an ongoing lawsuit and this teacher needs our support and not criticism.

For almost a month mzteris has been taunting this DUer and it needs to stop. It is cruel, despicably childish and completely uncalled for.

We need to gather together as a community of educators and get this stopped.

It seems that a DUmmy is involved in a case involving an autistic student who was raped at school.  Authorities are apparently investigating if the school handled it appropriately.

I didn't know a duer was involved in that particular case. I really wish someone could tell me how it was possible I could have known that?

It's obvious that while some of us DO want to engage in legitimate debate about EDUCATION in all of it's forms - others only want ONE POV. ONE WAY IS THEIR WAY IS THE RIGHT WAY and everyone else is deluded or perverted or crazy or hateful or a troll or or or SOMETHING.

How many times do I have to tell you people - I'm a mom with kids IN school and graduated from school. I have first hand experience with traditional public schools, charter public schools, homeschooling, magnet schools, and alternative schools. Besides my kids I also had foster kids and have been on HS loops with literally thousands of people from all over the world. I think I bring a unique perspective the table and would like to SHARE my experiences and opinions. It appears that that is not welcome by some here.

This is NOT the traditional public school teacher forum - it's the EDUCATION forum. Teachers, parents, students, administrators, interested parties, and the general damn public are allowed to have opinions and should be allowed to post them without be attacked and suspect.

It's sad, really, isn't it?

Since I am no longer employed with the district thanks to their illegal termination, I couldn't give a shit less. The district's lawyers have withdrawn from representing me because I had contacted the other side. I am currently representing myself.

If the district's insurance company pays a million dollars to the mom and her kid, more power to them. WCSD can go to hell.

The district should have thought it clear through before spearheading a bullshit termination and committing a number of questionable acts in order to dispose of me. The notice of termination by a dingbat principal was put into place several months before the civil action by the mom's attorney, by the way, so they are two separate incidents involving two separate issues at two separate schools.
