I'm not so confident about anything anymore. I figure my best bet if I can get back into a school mode where I can potentially change majors if I see I'm in an unemployable one. Which is a lot of them these days.

I'm afflicted with mental illness myself, and if I could get my mind strong enough to listen to other people I think my insight would be an asset. I'm also seriously considering studying philosophy and perhaps teach it some day. Assuming I live that long.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people on DU claim to have some sort of mental illness, yet they believe that they are the ones who should lead our country.   :thatsright:

They do say that most psychologists go into the field to diagnose themselves, so I'm sure this DUmmy would fit right in.

The DUmp truly is a madhouse. Even at a mental health clinic, half the people there are employees and counselors, presumably sane. At the DUmp, well over half the DUmmies constantly remind everyone of their mental afflictions. Granted, their usual motivation is to qualify for some sort of government payments, but even after accounting for the usual democrat dishonesty, you still have an amazing rate of mental illness.

Why would ya wear mental illness as a badge of honor? It's not somethin to be proud of, it's somethin ya try to live with and make the best of....asshats

It is part of the "liberal identity".........liberals fall into TWO distinct categories:

The "elites" who believe that they are smarter than everyone else, and thus able to determine best what everyone should do, say, or approve/disapprove of........except for them of course.........they are above the rules......

Then there are the "victims", who believe that life has handed them the short straw, and it is therefore incumbent on the rest of us to provide for their every need and want.......at no cost to them, of course.......

The DUmmies mostly fall into the latter category......it enhances their victim status to whine about it on the internet.
