I expect six months from now she will be driving the DUmmies insane(r), since the November Congressional elections will be looming on the horizon and Sarah will be really hitting her stride, driving Fox's ratings higher yet, and with even better to follow with the run up to the elections.

I'll take my thought a little further on this, I see it mainly as a 2010 play and one based on the mid-term elections and their immediate aftermath.  She will draw lots and lots of fire, but also tremendous numbers of viewers to Fox, so it is a win-win for Fox, every Conservative that can take advantage of all the wrath and effort being wasted on her by the Left, and a great chance for her to recoup her finances after the debacle of having to pay her personal legal costs through endless unfounded ethics complaint proceedings in Alaska (I'm sure the book deal has already helped a lot on that score, but you can never have too much money).

I don't know if she has further personal political ambitions, but I don't see this as a loss for them if she does, since it will let her see whether she can handle that game without investing in it, and ultimately increase her chances if she turns out to be highly successful in the Fox gig.  If she decides that's not for her, or her performance lowers her chances (Possible, but who knows), she still stands to help all other Conservatives by drawing fire and having nothing to lose in fighting with the Libs all the way through 2010 and beyond.

Barring some unforeseen problem like losing the power of speech, I see this as a multi-dimensional win for Conservatives.

And, DAT, this is why I understand perfectly her reason for leaving the governorship (still so many just don't get it, see DUmp quote below.)  She can now say and do what the hell she wants.

I agree completely, and to take the thought a bit further, I think that she has decided that her future lies in making herself financially successful, instead of advancing politically........I think she has scrapped the idea of higher office completely, and will proceed to make herself wealthy, and become a lightening rod for the conservative movement.

She can likely do conservatives and herself a lot more good as a political pundit than suffering the wrath of liberals should she decide to run for office again.......if you are going to be a "target" you might as well be extremely well paid for it.......

Two reasons why I don't believe that she will........

1)  She won't want to take the pay cut, if she is as successful as I think she will be.  I think that behind the scenes that Bill O'Reilly is getting ready to retire and count his money......Roger Ailes is looking for a replacement, and Sarah would fill that role admirably.

2)  When your face is on TV every night, you are bound to eventually make comments that will be held against you in a future political campaign.......it is inevitable, and as a member of the media on an ongoing basis, nobody really cares, but if you decide to run for office, it all comes out, in living color.......

As far as I know "Fox contributor" means "Paid guest". There are a lot of them and none of them have their own shows. She probably won't be on every day.
