Hold me!!! My dad just told me how much he is enjoying "Going Rogue" which he got from Mom for Xmas
I tried to be civil, but when I asked her why she quit, it got ugly.

How did I end up with Fox-watching parents???

7. I wish. I couldn't believe what he was telling me
 "She had a fascinating life"

"Yeah, in what way?"

"She fished with her dad when she was young and cleaned it all out..."

"Dad, lots of people fish with their dads"

"Then she tell about becoming mayor then Lt. Governor (???) then Governor"

"And did she talk about why she quit?"

Yes, I had to go there.

8. Fortunately, live on the opposite coast from them
we generally know better than to talk politics, but he started it!

DUmmies always sound like junior high school kids, complaining to one another about how stupid their parents are.

DUmmy Roon is the queerboy who bragged about being propositioned in a queer leather bar:

3. My mother and my step-father..my father and my step-mother
are all freepers. They are nice people and all but it drives me nuts visting them and having to watch foxnews and such.

The only thing that keeps me sane is my grandparents are very liberal. So that makes up for it.
DUmmy Roon's parents must be so proud of the flaming faggot moonbat they raised.

All DUmmy valerief knows about Ronaldus Magnus is what she's read at the DUmp:

14. I could never understand how so many people didn't laugh at Reagan.
I mean, WTF? He was a friggin' goofball! People are trained to believe what teevee tells them. Hence, Palin (Sarah not Michael) is taken seriously
Americans are totally irrational.

I don't think she finished it. She made mention of it, and I just said "well, I hope you realize that it's half fiction." And I pointed out a couple of things off the top of my head that I knew that she lied about in the book.

I also saw my mom owns a Michelle Malkin book.

I just try and not talk politics with her.

5. Oh dear.
My dad's a wingnut, but he's one of those old-school small gov't Republicans and he's so embarrassed by the current crop of idiots that he quit talking politics. I always figured that was bad enough. I don't think I could handle relatives who actually like Sarah Palin.

9. I was hoping they would be that way, too. But alas, both my parents watch Fox 24/7
they are part of the 23%.

In nearly every family situation, the DUmmy is an isolated, alienated  moonbat. I wonder if DUmmies have ever stopped to think about this. You know, nearly all of them have families who are normal people, i.e., "wingnuts". Everywhere they go, nearly everyone is a wingnut repuke. TVs are all tuned to Fox. Repugs everywhere they turn. Does it ever occur to them that this "23%" may be just a tad on the low side?

17. i'm sorry, but i giggled a bit when i read your post.
I also shed a tear or two for you. EVERYONE in my family is a Fox-loving, liberal-hating Repuuuuuuublican. My dad and brother might be the only two who would be considered anything other than conservative (but they're definitely not liberals). It kinda scares me for my future, because my dad was highly liberal when he was in his early 20's. I wonder what happened to him that caused him to become all...squishy and weak and balding. (He's a deist though, at least I give him points there.)

Republicans to the left of me, Republicans to the right of me.

My brother is a typical moonbat, has lived with my dad for years (will be 49 in two days), thinks he is so big hearted yet is the most selfish person I know, thinks Jimmy Carter was the best presdident EVAH and everyone else is to blame for his failures. When he was staying here for Chistmas I didn't watch Fox one time out of respect for him yet he watched MSNBC all the time while he was here. Moonbats are oblivious and have no couth.

My dad is a Democrat, who thinks global warming is bs  :-)  He and I poke each other about politics, but I am still totally a daddy's girl.  I wouldn't trade him for the world.

The holidays were wonderful.  Almost all of the relatives I spent Christmas with are conservative.  My grandpa watches sports, animal shows, or Fox News all the time.  I loved it  :cheersmate:

Ever notice how they claim the parents are nuts but live better and are happier than their moonbat children ?

Must be all that Fox news watching.    :lmao:

My sister, poor thing, is hooked up with a moonbat. He thinks he's so intelligent, has a beautiful mind, the whole bit.  He recently lost his job.  I found out he didn't lose it, they fired him.  He thought after a week he could run the company.  Typical.

He thinks my husband and I are brainwashed.  He's an idiot.

I hope he reads this.  :-)

My (grown) stepson is a moonbat, and I assume his girlfriend is, too.  I came home from work, and she was over to pick up the baby from my husband.  Glenn Beck was on the TV.  She didn't seem to be breaking out in hives, or hyperventilating or anything, and she glanced over at it from time to time.  Also, both holiday dinners were blessedly free from politics.  So, my hat's off to those 2 moonbats.

Judging from the "numbers" gathered in this thread, we out number LIBtards 4 : 1.    :-)
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Sweeeet, sweeeeeet tears.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Actually she did talk about why she quit.  In part because hateful progressives, such as yourself, attacked a disabled infant.  How proud you progs must be of yourselves.
