Steele has a tough job, but the problem is compounded by the fact he is basically a fiscal Conservative (Only) and it seems like he just doesn't get the Libertarian and Social Conservative strains that make up such a heavy part of the base, especially out here in the heartland.  We need someone who at least understands and considers all three flavors of Conservative without overcommitting personally to any one of them, and he isn't proving to be the man for that season.

He was pretty solid back in the day.

Yeah, he kinda became RINO-ish but my biggest complaint is he just became...bizarre. His recent crack about the GOP not being ready to gover is like, "WTF!"

Sorry, Bunny, but in a way he's right.  The GOP is too scared to hit back, too meek to take the reins and govern in a CONSERVATIVE manner--we've seen this by the big-spending they've done over the past dozen years and the way they've tried to "out-Democrat" the Democrats.

All fine and dandy, sir.  But how does he square what he "says" with his pouring money into, oh, those like Dede Scuzzyfava - a determined "Pro-Choice" advocate?

RINOs like Steele need to be shown the door.  If they want to out-progressive the moonbat Dim'Rats, they should do it from within the ranks of the Dim'rat party.  At least demonstrate the courage of their "convictions".

Hi,

I don't know if you saw Steele on Chris Wallace show on Fox this afternoon but he really frustrated me.  They talked about the racial remarks and Steele clobbered the head of the DNC.  Then, Steele got the hot seat questions and, as far as I am concerned, really missed the point.  I sent him the following email.

I am not sold on the fact Steele gets it either.

First of all congratulations on the job you did regarding the racial issue on Chris Wallace show today.  You thumped them good and are correct.
 
At the same time you also made the remark "They haven't passed health care."
 
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS AS AN ALTERNATIVE.
 
Dick Morris wrote a column recently indicating the democrats have no idea how angry the voters are because they are not listened to.

That to me is why people should come back to the Republican party, you need to stress the fact that you will listen to those who hire you and vote accordingly, not special interest groups.

Ever since Steele endorsed that pro-abortion RINO Scazzafava (SP?) in NY's 23rd Congressional District last year he's been persona non grata to me.

If conservatives have any hope of taking back the Repub party, Steele has to go! We need someone with enough balls to take on the RINOS and the DINOS! Steele has his in a lock box. I wonder if Hilary has his FBI file?
