Seriously, if one more dumbass poo-pahs Global Warming because of the recent cold spell & snow....

I swear I'm gonna give them a peace of my mind.

How stupid can these people get? Global Warming doesn't mean that we won't have cold days or snow or other wintry things. But yet again I heard some dipwad talk about how "Global Warming is all bull because once again it was cold and snowy out. What a bunch of crock" from someone who claims to be 'educated'

Global Warming is not local it is GLOBAL. It's not about your local weather report but the overall changes happening around the globe that could have serious impact on this planet. So what if a cold wave is gripping the states right now, that doesn't change the fact that the polar icecaps are melting at an alarming rate. And sure, perhaps we don't live near these melting ice caps so who really cares, but we have large populated areas along the coast and barely above sea level that may be impacted seriously by these changes.

The earth was created with it's own 'thermostat' that helps to regulate the temperatures so they are inhabitable by all lifeforms. Why don't these dingbats do a little reading and get a clue as to how Global Warming is breaking this thermostat.

Yikes, the stupid hurts so much it burnz!!!!

It's a medium-sized campfire, so only a few primitive comments, selected at random:

10. they are telling us we may get snow and slush and ice in SW Florida tommorrow!!

we are breaking all kinds of cold weather records down here in ..what used to be ..sunny warm Florida!!

Hard to convince people of any kind of "warming"

That word "warming" needs to be replaced!

I am even hearing "warming" jokes in the grocery store lines..while people are trying to bundle up in a place where people don't have real warm clothes ..I am seeing very "creative outfits" around here right now!!

..as I sit here freezing with what my hubby calls "throw away socks" and my new uniform of a varity of sweats, not nessessarily matching or attractive!!!

31. Things do break

A few years ago my thermostat was busted and my house was either way too hot or way too cold. But eventually it was fixed and worked once again. This is what has been happening to our planet. What's amazing is there are things we can do to help prevent this thermostat from breaking or at least slowing it down but too many people would rather bury their head in the sand. Oh it's snowing in Florida - I guess Global Warming is fake. Geez, how clueless can someone get?

30. Nonsense climate theory ought to be mocked and laughed at. Global Warming believers ("Warmers") twist every piece of information into something that supports their beliefs, and we end up with a theory that cannot be falsified because everything is evidence to support it.

With the majority of the human race across three continents suffering from historic cold, one would think that the Warmers would give us some temporary peace from their hallucinatory braying...

Yeah.

Leona's apparently in Florida now, although she spends most of her time at her Streisandian digs up in New Jersey.

However, she claims Florida as her state of residence because of taxes on the wealthy that are more onerous in New Jersey.

I'm sitting here way early in the morning watching the news freaking out over the fact there's snow in Florida right now. I'm watching as it advances south into areas it just doesn't happen in. I just got home from VA where they have been bitterly cold for over a week now and complaining that it just isn't normal.
On the radio up and back there was nothing but complaining about the cold and freaking about the snow coming this weekend.

Not once was glowball warming mentioned. By any of it's faked up names.

The earth was created with it's own 'thermostat' ....uh huh, right, that thermostat being our 93 million mile distance from the sun. When the heat source heats up more than normal, we get hotter. When the heat source cools off, we get colder......now is that so complicated that the DUmmies and Al Gore can't understand?

Yup.  It has been, and it isn't.  Not normal at all.  Maybe it is a conspiracy by by gas and electric providers.

I saw a documentary that explained that the earth is moving ever closer to the sun, which is NOT a manmade phenomenon, and we will eventually burn up.  It made lots more sense than global warming.

It must be so nice living in their world. Just change a the word if it's not working out for you. Liberal gets a bad name?  Change it to progressive.  Global Warming not working out for you?  Climate Change it is.

When they changed the named to "Global Climate Change" it was obvious why they did it.  When the climate didn't support the title Global Warming, why they just change the name. Climate Change is a much better term, they can blame everything on it.  They should have thought it through before the decided to go with Global Warming. They should have learned from the '70s and how "Global Cooling" didn't work out so well.  Because they have been through this scam before, you would think they would have been a lot smarter. Sorry Al Gore, no do overs. You are stuck with your original title which will be the butt of jokes (along with manbearpig) long after you are gone.

It's almost as if God has had enough and delivered a wake-up slap to people running around crying about "global warming."

LS really needs to hold on to as much mind as she has left. She evidently has been doling out too many "peaces" over the years. As for global warming being "global" and not local, has anyone told her that the local cold snap and precipitation has gone big time? Local has evidently changed to mean hemispheric or more; US, Europe, China, Koreas, etc. Awful big local.

As for climate change, the climate has changed back and forth throughout history, from what we can tell. That is what it does, and it will continue to do so regardless of the vermin (DUmmies) living on the surface of the poor tortured planet.

Randy this is my fourth winter here...and this is by far the coldest.  It's the first time I've seen sheet ice on the Potomac.

Our summer here was the mildest in those same four years as well...more rain and cooler temperatures too.

At the time of this post we have reached our high today of 33 according to the forecast on WeatherBug.  There is a 14mph wind from the north making it feel like 24 outside.

I defy ANY of the granola chewing greenie weenie tree hugging Global Warming Theologians to come here and tell me that what we're going through right now is because of Global Warming!

Local variables? Local everywhere. Even Australia had a freeze early in its SUMMER. Last summer was actually less hot than normal here in Texas.

Climate Change?

Go back in history and tell me when climate was not changing?

What is the optimum temperature?

They have no idea. This is all phony anyways.

My parents live on a river and it has been completely frozen over for days. Oh yeah, its in freaking Alabama. One of our Southern states. It always amazes me how people are so arrogant they think they can change the weather, or state of the Earth. Riiiiight.
There is no virtue in compulsory government charity, and there is no virtue in advocating it. A politician who portrays himself as caring and sensitive because he wants to expand the government's charitable programs is merely saying that he is willing to do good with other people's money. Well, who isn't? And a voter who takes pride in supporting such programs is telling us that he will do good with his own money— if a gun is held to his head.

I kinda get the race hustlers and AGW/CC hustlers. They are just in it for the money. While they are a sickening and detestable lot, it's these types of libtards who buy into these things that really get my goat. They seem to live to marinate in the doom and gloom. Then they think they are going to be the one who magically fixes the problem. Because they care. A lot.
