DUmmies think McCain is a war criminal because they're sure he dropped bombs on innocent commies in an illegal war.

Senator, be careful who you pander too.

BTW - FBI could not trace any bullets back to Blackwater.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

This coming from the same idiot that claimed...with a straight face...that he's "always" been Conservative.

I don't give fellow veterans that have turned into political idiots much of a break.

It's quite apparent that his time as a POW has definitely affected his mind. I just cannot fathom WHY ANY person would try to keep these men under fire when the truth has set them free.  :mental:

I hear Jimmy Carter's looking for a new shuffleboard partner over at the senile dementia camp - perhaps you should go give it a try?

Have to agree with Rich, McCain is due all kinds of respect for his war record (Well, to be totally accurate, his POW record, because that is where he truly stood out), but all kinds of disrespect for trying to pursue stupid political ideas since then.

Y'know, courage and valor are not attributes of only the good guys, plenty of people doing very bad things (Or working for very bad people) in history did not lack for guts at all and have much to teach anyone in that lane.  The fact that someone did something valorous and courageous in his youth does not excuse them later becoming an advocate of stupid ideas (Like John McCain) or an outright crook (Like Duke Cunningham).  The consequences of current actions and statements should be justly handed out regardless of the laurels earned in youth.

I still have great respect for what he went through in service to this country, but it does seem that since he came on the national stage he has moved left.  Maybe those were always his positions, I don't know.

I can't help but wonder if this man is going senile.

He is to be honored for his service to this country, but he has really said some stupid things in the last several years.
