"Shooting at Federal Courthouse

There has been a shooting inside the Federal courthouse on Las Vegas Blvd.. According to Metro Public Information Officer Barbara Morgan, two possible shooters are involved, and one is down. Metro Police are also confirming that two federal agents have been shot. Morgan says police are setting up a three block perimeter around the courthouse due to the investigation on a second shooter that fled. I just read that two Federal agents (marshals?) were hit, and that the gunman (solo) was dead.

Found something more . . . According to an AP story, a 48-year-old deputy US Marshal was wounded, and a court security officer in his late 60s was killed by the gunman, who died from a shot to the head.

Hmmm...guess our shooter was upset his SS benefits got cut.  Also, according to the neighbors, he hated Vegas and "white people"...

I told my wife when it was reported that he was mad because he didn't get a raise in his SS that I'd bet dollars to donuts it was someone who was on SSDI rather than someone who had actually put in to the system.

From what I'm seeing here (and there is scant news here in Texas about it) it looks like I was right.
