Some Truth: Can you Handle It?
   

Human population has reached and exceeded the carrying capacity of the Earth.

Peak oil is happening. We may actually be going downhill.

We are going to have a very 'Silent Spring'.


We know these truths to be self-evident. So who thinks the PTB do not?

Of course the Powers That Be know these truths. And if they let on that the consequences of these truths are being felt now and will increase in the near future, then all hell would break loose. The real losers in all hell breaking loose are the PTB.

So they have to feed us the propaganda that everything will be alright.
They get us to focus on fake enemies and fake realities.

But in the end, it is a losing game, because the truth is the current modern economic and human society systems are not sustainable.

that one person in the USA uses as much of the resources as a family of 10 in Mexico. Either way we need lifestyle changes: birth control and simple living.

All the more reason to stop the illegals then. They are coming here and consuming ten times what they did in Mexico.

How the h**l does this dope even know what the "carrying capacity" of the Earth is?  Whatever that value is, it is heavily dependent on the technological capabilities your computation assumes humanity has - for example, if we were to compute that value based on 19th Century agricultural technology, we passed the "carrying capacity" of the Earth quite a while back.

I don't have that figure...but I do know that Americans are constantly running mission trips into Mexico to build houses for some of the poorest of the poor.  I suppose that's a bad thing to do...it may cause them to pollute more instead of just dying off.

Re Mexican pollution. I once a guest at a really fine private golf club in Mexico City. Guards with submachine guns, razor wire discretely camouflaged atop a wall in the boundary shrubs and trees, incredible clubhouse full of artwork and statuary, the whole nine yards. The course was manicured like Augusta. A stream ran though the course, burbling along through a rocky streambed, coming into play on nearly half the holes. Beautiful, but still Mexico. The water in the stream was a semi-opaque gray color, and carried the odor of an open sewer, which it was. It originated on the mountainside above the club,which was swarming with the usual Latin American hovels. I hit a couple of balls in the water, retrieved by my caddy. I told him he could keep the balls.

and thats a rich golf club. The poor in some countries have open sewers in the middle of the roads, people will burn ANYTHING for cooking fuel... people scour dumps for scraps they might be able to sell.

Except for the odor, it's a regular Caddyshack setting, right?
