Paula Thomas, 29, was preparing a feast for her family in England on Christmas Day when she began to go into labor, The Sun reported.

She continued to baste the turkey in the oven until the contractions were just three minutes apart.

Her husband Damian, 32, took her to hospital and daughter Lexi was born one hour later.

She was back home in St Austell, Cornwall, a little more than an hour after giving birth — eating dinner and toasting the new arrival. ...

Make sure the kid in the paper hat has your order right BEFORE you pull up to the window though.  It's the same window the Øne delivers abortions through.

I know you meant midwives.  They still have midwives in England. Fairly well trained and licensed , I believe.

How much do you want to bet she started feeling the "effects" of child birth right about the time the clean-up and dishes needed to be done... :-)  Just saying...

We have 'em here in the Union of Socialist States of America, too.  My MIL is a trained/licensed midwife.

Now thats a wife! Serving dinner an hour later.
In case of childbirth, I as husband will at least wash the dishes that night.
