Oh my.

The shadowy primitive, who not only failed to get social security disability, but who also failed to make even the runners-up for the Top Ten this year:

1. SoCo with Sprite and lime.......

..... I'm a total bore this NYE. I'm just going to sit around at my apartment with some friends and a lot of mixed drinks.

4. That's what I'm doing. Bottle of Vodka and lime tonic. I'm set.

Well, if the shadowy primitive can drink, he can work too, instead of loafing off the taxpayers.

In the old days, it would have been anything that said Contents: Alcohol

7. Extra pain pill

I'll be up until the gunfire is all over, until 1 AM at the earliest.

Needless to say, even if I could drink, there's no way I would with pain pills.

I'm gawping at the Burn Notice marathon, one of my favorite series of all time, far fetched and a total hoot.

Not sure if I will be drinking anymore. We'll see. Have a good night.

11. I have decided to go with an old favorite....Margaritas.

I am just taking a slow roasted pork shoulder out of the oven (eight hours cooking in lime, onions and garlic) and covering it with fresh cilantro. The yellow rice with pigeon peas is done and fluffy and the plantains are sweet and fried. I have ice cold beer from several countries, the fireplace is blazing and I am kicking back with a pitcher of Margaritas on the rocks, so salt.

People will start showing up at about 10:00 so I have done my part and can now get my New Years buzz!

16. The usual Leinie's Red.

Remember, DUmmies lie.  All the time, DUmmies lie.

Despite the primitives tossing around all these fancy names, one suspects they're really sipping on either Milwaukee's Best beer or Canadian Springs whiskey.

They don't have money for anything else like food and utilities but they've got booze money.   :cheersmate:

Just like a DUmmie.

At least they're home and not causing death on the highways.

I don't drink.

I don't get the fascination. Or downright DUmmie dependence on mind-altering drugs of all kinds.

I'm having a drink right now. Whiskey neat. Once in a while I like a little liquor. I hate beer, can't drink wine anymore, everything else is harsh.

I don't use any mind altering drugs.  I guess I'd be boring in DUmmie circles.   :-)

What a waste.  A little every now and then - quality, not quantity - is fine by me, although personally, I've almost stopped drinking entirely (largely just out of forgetting to do it - nothing I can really take any credit for).

I had a cup of coffee a bit ago, right now I'm working a cup of cocoa with marshmallows. At midnight, I'll pop two extra strength Tylenol.  :cheersmate:

Cuppa tea and some mint chocolate ice-cream (yeah, I know, about as boring as you can get).

My Brother-in-law hears shooting on New Years... he goes outside to look.

How stupid is that?

Not very bright. It wasn't so bad last night, only one gun shot, a lot of sparklers.
