"The enemy does not have a constant policy," the unsigned statement said. "Sometimes they talk about sending more soldiers and other times they speak of an early withdrawal. Their thinking is irrational."

We knew that giving a withdrawal timeline would embolden them. Everyone knew but Lord Zero and  his cronies.  Or maybe they did.

Not "us" but "them" pegged.....them being Obama and crowd.

BTW: there were twice as many troops killed in Afghanistan in 2009 as any year before.......Why aren't the DUmmies throwing those numbers out there like they used to .....and it's Obama rules of engagement that is causing the increase.

The reason I say "us", is that The MessiahnFuhrer and his Reich didn't get where they are by magic.  Americans - admittedly Americans with mayfly brief attentions spans, but Americans all the same - put us in this unenviable position, and enough Americans were involved in it that there is logical justification for the Islamofascists to be correct in their observations about us.

The first step in dealing with the problem is acknowledging that a problem does exist in the first place.
