Background: I lent a Dinosaur DVD to a gal I work with. Its a fun one called, "Chased By Dinosaurs."
The same people who made "Walking with Dinosaurs" made this one.
The main difference is a British Gonzo Nature Host names Nigel Marvin goes back in time and we get to see a real human standing next to the dinosaurs.
Nigel is a real card. He's a nature host who has been chased by more than one animal. He's best known for saying things like, "The tigers are eating now. They're not paying attention to me. Lets get as close as we can!"

So this guy is a perfect choice for getting close to the dinos, and we get a good perspective on how big they really are...Its 5 one hour episodes, and he gets eaten (off camera) twice. I could count at least a dozen times where he should have been et up.
The Dramatic story:anyhow, this gal has a hubby and three little girls: 8, 7, and 4.
The 4 year old, is as cute a a button. She came up to her mom and announced she had to go to the doctor-she had been bitten by a dinosaur.
To prove it, she pointed to a tiny scratch on her leg.
"Are you sure the puppy didn't scratch you?" Mom asked.
"NO. This is serious. I can't walk. A dinosaur bit me. I have to go to the doctor. Carry me."
Well as it happened she was scheduled to go to the doctor and she got a shot!
"Mommy. I'm never going to the doctor again. that hurts!"
"What if a dinosaur bites you?
"I guess I'll just die."
I haven't figured out the moral of the story yet. those of you with kids might be more discerning than I.
What do you think the moral ought to be?
