It is not good to have judges with a sense of humor

OK, first, I kind of agree with what they did.  I think it ends all chance of appeal, but this is not the way you are supposed to go about it.

Particulars of the case, guy went on chat rooms and claimed to be 16, met up with girls 15 and under and forced them to fellate him.   He got sentenced to 17  years 8  months in prison.  He appealed because the sentence was too harsh.  The appeals court agreed and reduced his sentence by one day.

Okay, that was kinda funny.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

The key word here is FORCED.

I have no idea what the real time is that he will have to spend in lock up, he may be out in 2 years --who knows.

I would like to buy that Judge a drink one day, he has to a point restored my faith that there at least some honest and sane judges somewhere in this country.

Say, that judge, it wasn't JUDGE JUDY was it.?

Sucks what happens when you're more than 3 years older than your victim in a state where the age of consent is 18.  So he'll spend 17 years, 7 months, and 29 days being Bubba's bitch in Cocoran, Tehachapi, Chino, Folsom, or any of a whole host of fun poke-'em-in-the-ass places.

Anyone having sex with a minor deserves major pain and lockup time.

First off, just getting past his name, Hung Van Phan was difficult.  I'm glad this judge had some "sense" cause that isn't always the case.

You know, the internet can be a wonderful tool, but it's really sad when kids fall victim to this kind of crap!  Makes you wonder where their parents are???
