We normal people, by the virtue of intelligent understanding, the sweat of our brows, and the love in our hearts, have achieved a reason to live.  It's earth's human cockroaches who have nothing to lose. 

From a casual overview of reality and a mild perusal of history, it doesn't appear as if too many cockroaches look like "good ol' boys".

Not only are they usually white, but also Christian.  CSI Miami does have some non-white bad guys, but not as many as would seem likely in Miami.

On Saturday Morings on the Outdoor channel during the Guns & Ammo show they show ads for self defense and pistols and one of them is of a lady walking to her car in a dark parking garage while being stalked by some perp. Just before he tries to strike she pulls her pistol and it ends there.
