Just got through airport security

Sitting on the plane now.

Not much of a hassle so far. Seemed like more TSA agents than usual but they didn't seem to have tightened any security.

No blankets or pillows on this plane though. Hmmm.

4. Be Glad They Let You On The Plane...

I don't think they've had blankets and pillows for several years...I guess laundry costs too much. My bets are TSA presence is hightened at certain airports...more of a dog & pony show...to try to cover up the fact that the "system" failed and a "terrorist" almost got in. We're still digging out of almost a foot of snow here and O'hare is still a mess...not a day I'd like to be traveling even in the best of circumstances. Travel safely...

7. Ok, is it just me, or ...

... would anyone with any kind of "disruptive plans" know better than to attempt two "incidents" within 72 hours of each other?

It only seems logical that after the one in Detroit, security would be heightened. So either go simultaneous or just lay low until after the holidays and the fervor dies down, then spring the next plot?

Sometimes I think our gov't/security etc is run by Barney Fife.

Nope; Barney Fife was more competent than Benito Bo.

8. Security about the same in Seattle

A long line to wait (possibly because other checkpoints were closed at 5 AM), but no more rigorous check than ususal

10. Las Vegas

Wh....aaat?

The Die alte Sau primitive was in Last Vegas, and didn't call the gigantic primitive?

Don't primitives ever associate with each other off of Skins's island?

13. Sitting at the gate waiting to board

then on the plane waiting to take off. Yes, you can until they tell you to turn off devices.
