What's amazing about the Kelly number and West Side Story's America is that there are very few cut aways. These are filmed in real time with hardly a slice in either one...
Video's seem so sliced and diced you can't tell if they are dancing the number step by step...

I had not seen Usher's tribute,and as you say, he isn't as fluid as Kelly, but still...
