Found the conservative forum earlier this afternoon, and just wanted to say hello from the Buckeye State...I left a local forum due to liberal infiltration, and was having really bad temper tantrums because of their sinister way of looking at life, so went looking for a place that was a little more to my conservative way of thinking....Have I found it here??? Time will tell....Looks like I have a lot of reading to do...

Thank you so much for the warm welcome....we had a very Merry Christmas, was a little soggy here in Ohio, but we don't mind...At least it wasn't SNOW.....Hope your Christmas was good as well.....

I'm in E TN straight down I75 from you and we too, had quite a bit of rain....but, eventually ...you just know that snow is going hit....

Ahhhh, Tn. my favorite state of them all...In my next life, that is where I want to live....Oh yes, we will be getting that dirty 4 letter word (SNOW) sooner or later...Maybe by Sunday they say....

Welcome! The first politics & news board I was on went from full conservative to full liberal, though the transition happened a few years after I had moved on. I feel like I need a shower after visiting such places. Sinister ... an interesting word choice. People pretty much filter everything through whatever world view they have - myself included, of course - but politically-oriented libs and progs have a very narrow, doctrinaire, bitter, angry, cynical filter, and they force everything through it, no matter how poor the fit, no matter how much they have to twist and mangle what they force through. Good luck with that SVPete, in finding the one all encompassing adjective to describe that bunch....I have a few coming to mind, but it wouldn't be lady like as a new subscriber to put them in print.....When I first started on this little forum, it was pretty well mixed, and differences of opinions were moderate, but after the O-BOW-MA gang took office, it just went to hell in a handbasket, and I couldn't tolerate it anymore....Started lookiing around,, found a couple, this being one that i thought I could fit in....Time will tell....And thanks for the welcome....It is appreciated...... :cheersmate:

Hi and welcome!  What general area of Ohio are you in?  I went to Miami Univ. and have also lived briefly in a western suburb of Cleveland (where my husband grew up).
