The Ben Nelson vote getter was something to do with abortion. Women who want an abortion or may want one have to pay for separate insurance if they are getting tax money to help pay for their regular insurance.  Something like that.

So, they have to make a gamble that they will in fact be requiring an abortion in the future?  This sounds like it incentivizes irresponsible behavior.  It just feels like a set up for an abortion mill, am I wrong?  There's something distasteful about all of it.   Government-sanctioned abortion insurance.  Like car insurance.
