Masked men disrupt Hanukkah ceremony with Nazi flags, obscenities
   

FAIRFIELD -- Pouring rain failed to dampen the spirts of a small group of families huddled on the Sherman Green gazebo to light a menorah on the third night of Hanukkah Sunday.

Neither did three masked men, who carrying Nazi flags and shouting obscenities, tried to disrupt the ceremony until they fled when police arrived.

"I'm glad I was there," said Fairfield First Selectman Kenneth Flatto.

So was Rabbi Shlame Landa who staged the ceremony for Chabad of Fairfield.

"It's important to see we don't back down from spreading goodness and light," said Landa.

The men, dressed in black, showed up just as the ceremony was beginning, stayed on the sidewalk about 20 yards from the gazebo. Each carried a flag held in outstretched arms. One flag bore a swastika, another an iron cross.

who live in Darien, Ridgefield and Fairfield. I disagree with you. Fairfield County is filled with wealthy CEO types. It's hardly been a hotbed of neo nazis.

the differences? Myriad. Many CEOs are simply greedy pigs. And those folks are in many ways worse than skinheads in that their actions negatively impact far more people, but no they aren't skinheads.
CEOs are worse than skinheads?  No wealth envy there, either.

MILFORD (AP) -- A group of atheists is planning a protest near a nativity scene on public property in Milford.

City officials say they haven't put up a nativity scene in the Parsons Government Center, ending a holiday tradition going back several years. However, there is a larger creche set up on the Milford Green that is owned and maintained by a local family.

Dennis Himes, Connecticut state director of American Atheists, says the protest is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday near the Nativity scene.

Himes says the Nativity display is unconstitutional and that a Milford atheist filed a complaint sparking the protest. Mayor James Richetelli says the Nativity scene will remain.

The mayor says he wrote Himes informing him that the creation, maintenance and erection of the Nativity scene was not done by the city. For several years the Hyatt family has placed the Nativity on the Green

To be fair, some primitives agree that a display on public land of a religious nature is fine as long as the money is from a private source to do it, and other religions are free to do the same if they so choose - The rest of the posts read "Separation of Church and State !!!111!!!" -- unlike this Nazi protest of a religious display on a public green - the only difference being the religion isn't Christianity based, So, the Nazis are all at fault, not the Jews who shouldn't have been on a public green at all according to standard primitive dogma.

Dog shit dries up pretty quickly and blows away, it stops stinking pretty quickly, and if deposited on a plant or some soil, will act as manure fertilizer - a DUer cannot even hope to accomplish that much.
