Staying right here in Southwest Baltimore. Morning with the family, afternoon (yearly ritual) drinking beers with friends. Will be sad this year though. One of my best friends passed Monday (Rest in Peace Rog.)

I'm so sorry Spec....it's always sad to lose someone, but especially hard this time of year....remember he's always in your heart and memories....

Thank you. He was a character. I'm sure we'll do a lot of laughing and crying the next few days.
Another friend and I have already had people in stitches the last couple days telling 'Roger' stories. He would have wanted it this way.

I'm still out of town but found the laptop free so thought I would jump on before one of the teenagers around here took it back. :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
