Overdue Introduction...

Hello all.
Although my sign-up date is over a year ago, I'm just now starting to get involved here.
White male, dragging 40. Found this site from a post franksolich made on another site (of which I am no longer a member. FWIW.)
Name Specbid comes from Spectacular Bid. Horseracing is my life.
Proud supporter of our military. One of my brothers is grad of USMA. Dad is, and his bros were WWII vets.
That's about it. Trying to figure how y'all do things here...

I think that is a darn good start. 

(But, I don't know whether or not you are actually supposed to like peach cobbler.  I didn't get asked, so I kind of slipped through the cracks.)   :-)
