Not even a rant ..... just a simple statement ...... I am really disgusted
A Democratic president exhorting a Democratic congress to capitulate (compromise presupposes simple differences of opinions with the opposition) to the Repubican minority which is barely more than 1/3 of the Senate.
This no longer has any benefit for we little people. It is now simply about getting something done so some people can crow about accomplishments.
I don't even feel anger.
Just disgust.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x7233958We're pretty sure the cat feels disgust having to share the room with you, if for no other reason than your stupidity. It's the DemonRats that can't get their act together. The Republicans are the minority as you said and have no control whatsoever. That is until after 2010.

13. Oh
Gonna keep bitching are ya?
Look, we Dems are known for passiveness. We go along to get along... try hard not to get anybody upset. Be bipartisan. Why, we Dems have a great and unglorius history of making sure everyone is happy, especially the republicans. Yeah, we, the people, made them unhappy by voting them out, but our dear leaders are trying their best to correct that faux po.
Dem voters are known for being passive. Part of the problem DUmmie is that the DimRats in power haven't tried to be bipartisan, they have excluded the Republicans every chance they could.

43. But he will still need our votes again
and right now mine is looking real iffy.
I wonder what his slogan will be "Hope & change - really, I mean it this time"

That's good, I like it. We know you'll just bend over and vote for the DimRats again.
