In what way?
Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.   ~Robert A. Heinlein

WTF! Have you guys seen the comments section? Jesus Christ is censored into "Jesus @!$#*&". I thought it was just a poster, but every one of them have the same type of censor.  :censored:

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Thanks for the update; unfortunately, while it deepens the mystery, it doesn't provide any light on exactly what was going on with the kid, his parents, or the school.  Anyone have any idea what was going on there?

Sorry - migraine almost all day, so I'm a bit short today. Kind of went off there, eh?

Hope you are feeling better today....as a fellow migraine sufferer you have my deepest sympathy....
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Nope. Going to be at least a week before I'm migraine free again.

In the last week, my eyes have felt like they have a rubber band around them and my eyesite is horrible. I was put on some new meds, so I quit them all to remove them as a causational issue. But until we know what the scoop is on the eyes, I'm foooked.

I'm hoping it's not the macular degeneration getting worse... If it is, then it is. If it's not, then we'll do another cancer scan (supposed to get them every 6 months) most likely. Fun stuff.

So I'm crabby... I admit it.  :-)

Well technically, Christ on the cross is an Easter symbol and not a Christmas one..

In all seriousness though....it's a shame.

Just an FYI

I attend the Cathedral here in Knoxville....took this picture today after the noon Mass...as I mentioned...there is little to signify that it is Advent -Christmas season...except for the Advent candle wreath to the right of the altar. But Christ on the cross is always present....

oops....M must have put new batteries in again... :thatsright:

He takes a lot of my drive by shooting pics and has a tendency to just automatically change the batteries unless I remember to tell him to leave the camera alone because while he might obsessively change the batteries...he NEVER remembers to correct the date and the drive bys are too be dated! :banghead:

You have never met a man more techno toy challenged than he is!

He's attempting to learn how to text on his cell phone. He has yet to figure out how to retrieve a text message!  :banghead:

I have put post its around his computer telling him how to clear cookies and temp files, uploading pictures to email clients, etc....because he was coming in to my office asking for help all the time. The best one is when he bitches that his printer is "broken and won't work".....well     quit pulling the sliding shelf out to far and disconnecting the USB cord.....

He's an engineer for God's sake!!! Aren't engineers supposed to like this kind of geek tech stuff...

Of course, if you have a wireless router, a wireless printer will negate that problem.........

I got a new printer for him.....have tried twice to install it. Finally got all the software installed, but can't get the hardware to install. I keep getting thing that the USB can't be recognized. I'm trying to use the one from the prior HP5700 printer. I did not buy a new USB....do I need to go get one?

It's an HP computer with XP, and I bought an HP printer, copy, scan. I think it's an FF4000 or 4400.
