I'm DONE!!! Democratic Party can go to hell for all I care
Letting Joe Lieberman rule and laugh and not do a thing about it. Giving that lying sack of shit chairmanships and leverage while folks are dying. I've been keeping my mouth shut around here. I've been through good and bad on DU since 2001, but this was the most disgusting, hurtful thing I've had to witness in politics. Not even that loss to Bush in '04 had me as disgusted as I am now.

I went without on my military retirement pay so I can donate to DNC and Obama. You can bet your ass I will not donate to DNC or anyone associated with this mess. I might even sit out this election.

Well that's just asinine! Did he expect 0bama to walk in to the Oval Office Jan. 21 and say, "Dammit, Rahm, I told you to find that "No Passaran" and give him the pony of his choice immediately! I can put those gays off for a while...they don't like wearing the same color every day anyway. Health care we'll tackle next week, after Michelle and I have date night in Milan but Passaran went without his Schlitz for a week and a half so he could donate to my campaign and I don't want to disappoint him because he's so important to the whole country!

DUmmies, lets take this from the top.

Joe Lieberman was elected as Senator by the people of Conn.
He ran as an independent and defeated a lib running as a dem.
That means he reflects the viewpoints of those that elected him.

To Reid he is the equivalent to a tie in football standings...not as good as a win but a 100 times better then a loss.
I would like to see a Republican in that seat but most likely a (R) from Conn would be pretty much the same as Joe is so he isn`t doing great harm to our side either.

You really all need to brush up on politics, civics and reality.

Oh wait.
Never mind.

That would have been me at the time. :-)  I voted for him because he seemed to "get it" on terrorism.  Also, because he didn't seem like a mindless lemming moonbat like the others.  As I recall, the republican candidate was absolutely unacceptable.

That seems to be happening a lot lately.

It's hard to imagine a career military man doing that. Can you draw a pension without an honorable discharge?

Are the Duchebags happy they forced Joe out of the democrat party now?
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Of course they are: he's now a ready-made and completely deniable scapegoat anytime they need to do something that pisses off their moonbat base, and a siren voice of temptation to RINOs.  I'm not sure it isn't by design.
