The alleged "recovery" hasn't "trickled down" to the people yet. But, if the bankers and politicians approve it might..someday...maybe...if the conditions are right...and pigs fly.

Oh, it's worse After the Reagan years, we still had a lot of our industrial infrastructure intact. Many of the places I temped at when I was an unemployed Ph.D. no longer exist or have shipped production to the Third World.

It's taken 30 years beginning with that ******* Reagan... and I agree.
So, explain why if you drive in any poor area in any town, the amount of seattle dishes on their roofs, the cars in the driveways and you know they all have a TV, clothes, and plenty of food.? Take a look at the real 3rd world countries and you will see some of them don't have a pot to piss in and thrilled to get a bowl of rice a day. I am not thrilled with this country but we got it a lot better then others.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x7212655Which is exactly what you goons want. You don't think America deserves any of her riches and that we should be stripped of them and be forced to live in a third world country. Nice going you morons who voted for Lord O.
No kidding. They are equating Blockbusters going out of sale with a third world country? In a third world country, the vast majority of the population would not have a TV and DVD player to watch those movies. They are lucky to have a house, even if it is made of scavenged materials.

Just amazing. They get exactly what they wanted...an America that is no better than Guatemala...and they're STILL bitching.

They just can`t understand why the milk and honey hasn`t been flowing to them yet.
Sorry DUmmies, while I'll freely admit seeing the "Going Out Of Bidness" signs held by people...I've yet to see middle aged women standing there with them.
Hell I'm not a business mogul and I saw Blockbuster Video having to do this because of three words.Netflx.On Demand.
didn't they just have a thread worrying about the creation of too many jobs? now they're bitching about businesses closing and people losing their jobs? which is it DUmmies? can't have both
Except, in the DUmmy world, they can worry about BOTH. They can worry about businesses closing and jobs being lost, because it means more people will be joining them on the welfare roles instead of paying taxes into the welfare mammaries they suckle at so greedily, and that can't be good. On the other hand, if the little lord Maøbama succeeds in creating a socialist worker's paradise from the rotten, corrupt bones of the United States, such that there are too many jobs needing to be done, they might be expected to get off of their fat asses and actually do something; that can't be good either.
As Obama boasted, "You ain't seen nothing yet!"I think this is one of the three times that he has told the truth since anointment.
