I think it may be that even though they claim to be so accepting of gays and lesbians, a forum like the "ShortBus",  would be filled by the homos .  The norms wouldn't want that, and I doubt that it is an image that Skinner wants to present to the world.  Although he seems fine with the regular craziness that is DU.
