I haven't thought about Gene Barry in years.  When I was a kid I was a fan of "Burke's Law".

RIP, Mr. Barry.

Jebus--I'm getting confused.  At first I thought it was the guy on Match Game (Gene Rayburn), but then I realized he died years ago.  Took me a second to realize it was War of the Worlds, Burke's Law, Bat Masterson, etc...

"Died of unknown causes at the age of 90"?????

WTF???

How about "old age"? Or even "natural causes"?

I've heard of not taking chances in reporting, but this is a little over the top even for LA standards....

Well, he probably liked Charles Nelson Reilly the best.

Richard Dawson, actually.  And trust me, LU, if I could do like you and stick my head in a pencil sharpener...

Richard Dawson is a classic.

I liked him better on Hogan's Heroes. He wasn't so full of himself at that time.

They played "War of the Worlds" this past week on AMC. I got to meet his co star in that movie a few years ago. She said that he kept trying to steal the limelight with her so when it came to the part of the movie where they are in the farmhouse and she was just supposed to wipe his face with a towel, she jammed his face in it till he pulled back. They left it in the movie.
